28: Rising Villian

Third Person's P.O.V
The mermaid surfaced you up ashore, laying you on the sand that made your swimming outfit vanish as it returns to the dry clothes you originally wore.

"(Y/n)!" Killua anxiously gets you.

"I...I got it." You handed her the potion before sobbing into mess.

"Where's the other brats?" The mermaid hissed, scanning around. "Give back my stone."

"They had to rush back. What the hell happened??" She takes the exquisite plant from your hands then goes after the mythical creature.

"Give me a break. Not my problem anymore— Eat it already. That plant makes a wish come true but it can't give you physical possessions like money or what since it only affects the person's body." She plainly replies.

Without further due, Killua intakes one magical plant and she reverted back into a he.

"What a shame~" She talked to herself. "I wanted those plants for myself but my powerful aura would be a forever hinder... I cursed several people so I could trick them into getting the potion yet they all gave up. And now everything's ruined-"

"You'll regret confessing that in front of me." His body released tremendous aura, transmuting it into electricity. "I'll grill you to crisp, you damn fish." He engages, landing a packed attack in ease, immobilising the target.

"I'm taking you back." The pissed guy hoisted her up from the water like practically baiting out an electrified fish.

"Dammit. I could easily kill you right now, release me if you wanna live." She wriggles her tail from his hand.

"Fine. Let's see who gets to die first... Turning you into a sizzling fish fillet before I present you to the people would be nice don't you think?" His deadly nails dug into her scales, making her bleed.

The singed mermaid shrieks in pain. "I didn't caused the destruction of the island! I didn't know your friend wasn't a normal human being!"

"What?" He drops her to the sandy ground, pinning her under his foot. "What do you mean by tha— (Y/n).. She's gone."

"Well, you were busy trying to kill me!!"

"Tch.... Oi! You're used on disguising yourself as a human right? Do it now." His bloodlust intimidates her enough to obey.

(Y/n)'s P.O.V
I ran up to the town...

The place fell into a huge crisis....

Boulders and trees crushed infrastructures...

Grounds turned unstable from the shocking breakage...

Fires spreads out in certain locations— Houses were scorched.

"I brought this to them." My shaking legs continued to walk as I witnessed horror. I was terrified enough to make tears prick on the corner of my eyes.

Innocent civilians were in panic....

Some... lost their houses...

Worst, some lose their loved ones...

The sound of the crumbling town.... sound of the despaired cries... have crushed my heart.
