(Y/n)'s P.O.V

"When will you stop crying?" I softly brushed her hair with my hand like a mother caring for her child.

It's currently lunchtime and my best-friend's finally awake.

I brought her lunch and all but she's still sobbing on my lap while I sat steadily for her console.

(Bsf/n) successfully received my memories and experiences from the other world so it's obvious she'd react like this.

"Looks like she's not only physically sick, emotionally too. Maybe you should take a day off from school." The kind-hearted nurse frowns.

"No, she's fine. Please have your break, miss." I curved a polite smile. "We'll borrow the clinic for ourselves in awhile."

"If you don't bother then." The lady sighs, sliding the curtains closed as she gave us privacy.

"I'm crying for you since you can't.." She hugged my waist while sniffling.

"You're no longer capable of crying, laughing, smiling... or anything at all.." She wiped her overflowing tears.

"Damn it. If I felt so hurt, how much more for you two?" She held my hand while expressing her grief. "You both must've been drowning in stress and misery ever since..."

"It's so upsetting. Why did you have to go through all that by yourself? I'm your best friend but I felt pathetic for being helpless against your situation.." Her voice cracked. "But thank you for sharing your burden with me. If I can help in a way, please let me know.."

My uniform was already disheveled from the way she clung on me so I untucked my blouse, trying to fix my clothes.

She weeped harder when she saw the scar on my stomach, pulling me for a long hug. "At first I'm overjoyed because Killua somehow went into life. I thought it's very romantic.. But now... I just wish it never happened. When did things go wrong?? I'm hurting because Killua and you are put into this kind of situation.. I can't stop crying." Her blood shotted eyes were puffed as she pulled back and gazed at me. "This is breaking my heart so much."

"(Bsf/n), it'll be fine." I reached for the tissue roll and wiped her wet cheeks. "Here, blow your nose." I gave her the tissues.

"What about that Lucas?" She wiped her snot. "Ugh. My head hurts now... I can't take too much sadness."

"We're both busy so we agreed to meet by dismissal. Come along okay? He'll show us something awesome." I caressed her cheek.

"Where's Killua?" Her lips quivered, a facial expression of someone who's about to break into tears again.

"With the brat." I handed her the packed lunch I bought. "Eat up."

All her genuine and dramatic sentiments could make any normal girl cry with her, but I felt nothing which made her a lot more frustrated.

Although I understand her message well just like reading a context in a book, it's useless without experiencing feelings.

"(Bsf/n), can you stay beside me when everything's over? You're going to lend me a shoulder to cry on."

...

Her eyes glossed as she nodded in silence, wiping another trickle of tear.
