46: End and Beginning

It was urgent. We didn't get to sort out our argument as well as with his lover when that sudden call came up.

I messed up. I didn't want to get angry with him but my humane feelings have limitations too.

Killua reckons that his whole family would bring him hell if he doesn't obey, that's why he's forced to cut off his destiny by confronting Silva directly back at their estate.

He's about to turn 17 and he was quite confident about his abilities which developed and blossomed throughout those 2 years of journeying alone, but I doubt his plan will get pretty.

"Onii-chan! I'm tagging along too!!" Alluka stubbornly demands.

"No. You guys wait here. This is my own destiny, I gotta mark it myself." We were unable to refuse when Killua asserts with his strong and deepest sincerity as he packed his luggage.

What he didn't knew is that I called his girlfriend through Alluka's device.

Yukarin wouldn't probably ignore this.

If they're in that deep relationship, then she should know about the complicated situation the Zoldyck family is in.

Author's P.O.V
The male paused from folding his clothes when his natural and advance instincts informed that his girlfriend entered their area.

"Killua.." She shows up, standing in front of his open door.

"Alluka.." (Y/n) beckons the child to leave with her, giving the couple some privacy.

"Yukarin..." The male approaches his woman who didn't falter from her place.

He left a particular border between them.

"I love you." It was just three words but it was enunciated with his undeviating feelings.

"...Killua... I-I can overlook that certain incident— Please, you can't endanger yourself. Going back is reckless. I can at least accompany—"

"You might be a pro hunter but you're my most treasured person at the same time. You can't come. It's not a boyfriend and girlfriend scenario where you meet and greet with my parents." His stern conviction raised a harsh wall as if he's shutting her out.

"T-that's your own— Tch." She clutched her fists and clenched her teeth, releasing a raging aura, and infusing with his cold one, rattling you and Alluka outside.

"Don't be selfish, Killua! It's always like this!"

His eyes went dull, suppressing the worse choice he could ever give in this moment. "Yukarin, if you cross that line and step inside, we're done." His lips quivered, releasing a low sigh.

"Is that a f*cking threat?..." She glares, stomping a foot inside before resuming her sentence. "I dare you."

This is certainly the most grave fight they ever had as lovers.

"You just ended our relationsh—"

Before he could even finish....

Yukarin slapped him heavily...

Like any other normal girl could've done..

No nen..

He even braced himself to get pounced out and get in a coma by receiving her intense charge yet....

Killua wasn't expecting that this would end up like a typical break-up.

The pitiful male didn't also anticipated that a mere slap would hurt like hell— A lot painful than any other attacks he has ever received in his entire life.

"Go with that girl." She dashed away, leaving her tears streaming.

.....

"Yuka nee-chan! Wai—"

The broken girl slammed the door closed from Alluka but the kid still tried to catch up when she saw a glimpse of her shocking state.

My plan failed on either choices...

I stood, slowly making my way towards Killua.

It's impossible for them..

Then what's my purpose in his life?

How do I leave?

I can't just make him remember all about everything. Now isn't the right timing.

After witnessing him cry silently, I secretly withdraw behind the wall, although my footsteps ruined it and should've been obvious I'm hiding behind this structure.

His feelings for her was real..

I know...

I'm not mistaken...

Because he also cried for me just like this in the past.

Who am I to comfort him...?

Every drop of his tears stabbed my heart repeatedly.

What's with this connection?

If he's hurting then so am I??

"I can't stop loving him." I achingly whispered upon myself.

"Yuu, how long are you gonna standby there? Come out."

By the time I turn at him, his expression was wiped into his usual look.

He's still hurt. His eyes clearly says so.

"It doesn't matter. After I deal with my family, I'll get her back." His head tilted down, hiding his pain that was visible in his tone.

"Is that the same for her?" I tightly interlaced my fingers together, looking at the side.

"No one could possibly know but Yukarin loves me just the same."

....Of course.

Her reaction ago was the evidence itself.

"You can leave your family to me and continue to live a happy life with Yukarin and Alluka."

He instantly raised his head to my direction and darkly scoffs. "Sure. Do it after you—"

"I can't fill your void when you're in-love with someone else."

"I'm not in the damn mood to listen on your reasons. It's your job to turn my condition into normal, simple as that. We talked about this." He ended the conversation, inserting his hands in his pockets.

"I'm the missing piece." I calmly professed. He couldn't possibly comprehend the real meaning for now.... that's why I said it.

He twitched a brow.

"Yeah. So, do your damn job and heal my being. I was already feeling miserable before but then breaking up with Yukarin made it even more horrible..... I don't know what to do anymore." He sat on his bed, holding his head as he crouched down.

"First thing you have to face is your family... You have to let me help. You're not allowed to get worried when I'm here for your sakes." I went near, up until I'm close-up, putting my hand on his head, lightly patting his soft silver hair.

"Well, it's true that you're gonna save me from this possessing hollowness." He brushed my hand off. "Do it quick."

"I'm trying my best.." I smiled underneath my mask.

Just bear with it..

"We're leaving before evening." He walks away.
