[A/N: Before you start, you gotta think of a name for your kids 😂💕 Have fun.]
(Y/n)'s P.O.V
"I told you, you're too young to understand the situation." I paused from washing the dishes as my two children forced me into an inevitable sequence of queries, especially the eldest one.The stupid family tree project they have engaged this issue deeper.
"Mom, you should start creating better lies. When I was 5 years old, you said our dad works in abroad. There's no evidence of his existence, except your first date pictures with him! No contact, messages, letters! He didn't even sign our birth-certificates. And now you're saying he's dead all of a sudden? We don't even know his name. How can I do this assignment now?! At least give me some information. I don't wanna be lame when we do the presentation tomorrow!" The first born was my son— (S/n). [(S/n)= Son's name] The sharp kid was just 8 years old and just got home from school.
He's very versatile, inquisitive like my brother and I, and sarcastic, blunt and rude like Killua. He seems a little more intelligent for his age too.
"Don't hate your father too much. He took care of you when you're still a toddler. He'll be back no matter what. Just invent a name, or put N/A, or something to finish your school work." I sighed, rinsing the plates after giving frivolous statements.
"What?! You want me to lie— Though putting N/A would do. Look, it's not like I hate him. But why are you acting very patient and faithful to a guy like him?! You're not even married with him. How can you say there's commitment?! That one stupid ring on your finger isn't enough to keep his promises with you!" The little boy got more infuriated.
"Enough with the prattling." I glared, ordering in a very strict tone. "I know you're just tired from school. Take a sit with your sister and I'll feed you a sandwich."
"Tch." He sat down the couch and shoved his bag next to the little girl, accompanying her in the living room.
This young male just knows when to stop when he steps his boundaries. I taught them morals and manners so they'll be disciplined once I cut them off without much scoldings.
"Doesn't Killua look like brother?!~" (Dt/n) points at the flat screen. [(Dt/n)= Daughter's name] She was watching an anime show— The comeback and final season of hunter x hunter.
Who knew it'll get aired once I'm an adult now. Like Killua, I just recently turned 34 years old.
My second child was the sweetest daughter ever. A total opposite of her older sibling.
She's in the age of 5 and just started kindergarten.
I stared at them for a minute. "Because that's your father." I gave them a bright grin then resumed to make them snacks.
"Really?!~" Her eyes sparkled in joy.
"What? No way. Stop feeding her lies. I'd believe it more if you said he's a celebrity or something." The boy scoffed.
Both of them were the spitting image of their father, even their eyes, hair, and skin tone.
(S/n) had a lighter hair and eye pigment while (Dt/n) had a darker shade in either. But compared to their father, their hair type's not that spiky— It's just a bit wavy.
This isn't how genes are supposed to work but these two definitely and literally came out of me. I can ignore the rest but I had a dominant trait when it comes to skin and hair. They should've at least got my hair colour!
"Eat up." I gave their treats, sitting in between them.
"Ew. Stop dumping all the chocolate syrup on your pancakes when you're already having a chocolate drink. It'll rot your teeth." He cringed, biting his tuna sandwich.
