"Isabella Shepherd, I expected way more from you. Don't tell the others especially not Yang but I thought you'd follow in your father's footsteps and become a well known surgeon" Webber said rubbing the bridge of his nose.

"Sir with all due respect you haven't heard my story yet, therefore, it's impossible for you to assume I was involved. I wasn't first off, and I have no clue who cut the L-VAD wire" I said standing up and pushing the chair out.

"Wait, Bella, putting all of this aside are you okay?" Chief Webber asked me. I could tell he say the strain on my father and I's relationship.

"I am now" I said walking out. I headed to the one person who in this time of need would comfort me. I drove to the woods and knocked on the trailer door.

"Bella? What's wrong?" Addison asked as she wrapped the the housecoat tight around her.

"I just need a hug" I said pinning my body against hers. I was acting like a child at the moment but I didn't care, I just need some comforting.

We stood in the doorway for what seemed like an eternity. Addison just holding me close to her stroking my hair.

We eventually pulled apart and sat at the table to talk over the events of what happened prior to me coming to the trailer.

"I had an evening shift and I walked into Izzy's patient's L-VAD wire cut. I knew better you and dad both taught me well. I was about to leave when Bailey walked in. I'm not even upset about that I'm just upset at dad in general. He doesn't even listen to me anymore" I said wiping a stray tear from my eye.

I looked over to see the time.

"I have to go, I'm on prom duty tomorrow" I said thanking Addison for listening before heading home. I crawled into bed hoping sleep would come but it didn't. Instead I just stared at the ceiling until the light started to burst through my blinds and my alarm signaled.

I crawled out of bed and headed to the bathroom to wash my face. I threw on some concealer and called it day heading to the hospital for a day of dreaded work.

"Morning" Alex greeted me as I walked into the locker room. I gave him a quick kiss on the lips before heading to my locker.

"You okay?" Alex asked leaning against the locker next to mine.

"I'm good" I said flashing a smile.

"Well I wanted to know if you wanted to go to prom with me" Alex asked with a cheesy grin on his face.

"Yes, I'd love to go with you. You know this will be my first prom" I said closing my locker and staring at Alex.

"You've never been to prom?"

"No I graduated school two years early. I just never went" I said.

"Okay, prom committee Camila Travis' best friends are ready to discuss the details" Bailey said rounding us all up. We headed to a conference room and heard what they wanted for the special night.

"Purple and black" one suggested.

"No so we can look like ghosts. How about blue and silver?" The other suggested.

"Uhhhhh" Alex moaned throwing his head down on the table.

"What was your prom like?" The two girls asked me.

"Oh my school did a white and silver theme. Didn't clash or make anyone look like a ghost" I said. Alex looked at me like I was nuts while George just hoped they would settle on a theme.

"That's the theme" the girls squealed. Alex stood up and kissed me on the lips.

"Thank you" He said before walking out. George went to follow him.

"So, is he your boyfriend?" The girls asked. I gave a small laugh before answering their question.

"Yes he is" I said smiling.

"Is the sex good?" The other girl asked. I practically choked on my saliva when she asked.

"I think that's slightly inappropriate to ask your friends doctor don't you think?"

The girls rolled their eyes and left the room. I went to help George prep for the prom.
