Seattle, rainy and dreary but none the less comforting. I grabbed a cab and headed to Seattle Grace the last place I was hoping to have to visit.

I walked into the hospital and headed to the surgical floor. My huge jacket definitely hid my already showing stomach.

"Dr. Shepherd please" I said to the nurse.

"He's not taking any meetings right now" the nurse said.

"Its his daughter" Webber said behind me.

"Dr. Webber how are you?" I asked.

"Good. I see your back"

"Yeah my dad called me. We have the insurance company meeting today" I explained. "I also came to see Mark"

"Ah well I can show you to his room"

"Thank you. Can you do me a favor. I don't want Jackson knowing I'm here. Not yet" I said. He shook his head as we entered the elevator.

He walked me to Mark's room. Callie was standing near his bed talking to him.

"Hey" I softly said hoping I was intruding on her conversation.

"Oh my god. How are you? You just left what happened?" She asked.

"I uh just needed to get away. What happened?" I asked confused as to how his health deteriorated once I left. He was suppose to be on track to making a full recovery.

"He had a surge and then he slipped into a coma. He signed DNR papers and asked that after 30 days we cut the plug" Callie explained.

I looked at him. A man I grew up seeing as a second father was lifeless. Hooked up and breathing by tubes.

"How are you?" Callie asked.

"I'm good" I said quickly turning back to Mark.

"No seriously how are you? You left so suddenly and Jackson he was so lost. He's still here, told Tulane he would come when the time was right. You guys are still getting married right?"

I bite my nails as Callie told me about Jackson. I hadn't heard about him. Meredith wouldn't give me much information.

"I think me coming here was a mistake" I said gathering my bag. Just as I as exited the room I collided into someone.

"Jackson" Webber called out.

I looked up to see Jackson in front of me.

"Bella" he said. He seemed stunned or as if he saw a ghost.

"I was just leaving" I whispered trying to push past. He grabbed my arm.

"Can we talk?" He asked. I looked at him. He looked different, his hair was grown out a little longer and he looked exhausted.

"You want to talk now? Where was your phone call three months ago when I left? Uh?" I asked mad.

"You left. Without a goodbye. I didn't know where you went until a month ago when I heard the neuro fellow at NewYork Presbyterian was a Seattle Grace resident. You know how dumb I've felt these last few months. I mean we are engaged"

"That doesn't fall back what you did" I said. I could feel everyone's eyes on us.

"Let it go. I already told you it was a mistake" Jackson sighed.

"Kissing another woman is not just a mistake you easily forgive. Especially since you haven't shown your sorry for it" I snapped. Jackson stood there.

"I'm sorry truly sorry" Jackson said grabbing my shoulders.

Just as I was about to forgive Kepner came out of no where.
