"In the room, ever since I opened that box something doesn't feel right"

Suddenly the door opened and revealing the maid she saw a few days ago

"My Queen, King Natsu has called for you in the throne room"

"Of course tell him I will be there shortly"

"Yes My Queen"

Then she bowed and left

"Woah Lu-chan your so queenly now" Levy said in amazement

But Lucy only sighs and says
"Well if your going to be a Queen you might as well act like one"

"Sorry Lu-chan..."

"Nah it's ok at least he's...nice?"

"Whatever you say Lu-chan"
Lucy turns and goes out the door

Walking towards the throne room she faced the two guards guarding the room

"Our majesty" The two men said

Lucy just nods and they go back to their original places. Lucy sighs and readies herself as she stared at the flaming handle

'Cmon Lucy you can do this'

She grabs the handle feeling the small warmth it gave before letting go and going in

She spots Natsu sitting on their throne, bowing respectfully then raising her head to face him

Lucy POV

Why does this feel so awkward..

It's never supposed to be like this when were destined mates

But no matter how I tried it seems like he's only going farther away from me...

Standing my ground I stared at him as I awaited what was the reason he called me for

After a few minutes nothing came out of his mouth so I decided to start

"What is supposed to be the reason for you calling me... Natsu"

It felt so foreign to speak his name as we are not close as much

"I called you here to let you know that I will be introducing you to the kingdom as my new mate and queen"

"W-what but-!"
"Do you have questions, no?, ok then go to Mirajane I know you have met her already so go to her and she will have more information"

I grunt in annoyance as he wouldn't listen, going out the door and slamming it I walked out

I stomped my way to the demon's cafeteria

Slamming the door open I scanned the room for the white haired demon not noticing the sudden hush around the room

Demons makes path for me as I got to Mira

Noticing me she smiles
"Lucy!~ I think your here for the announcement hm?~"

Nodding as I frowned, she sets down the tray she was carrying then leads me to her officee

Sitting down she notices my frown and giggles

"He didn't listen to you again didn't he?"

Nodding again

"You know Natsu, he's the king and your mate so you really should be following him"

"But I don't want to .."

Mira shoots me a worried glance

"I want to be treated as a person not an object"

"Ohh Lucy you must know that we can't do that, were only female, male are  always on the top"

Sighing I crossed my legs and said " just give me the details on the upcoming event"
