The group wandered off from the camp as SMG4 woke up.

A big creature whacked SMG4 across the face with a large stick and dragged him into a nearby cave.

Meanwhile with the others, they found a crossroad and started to decide on which way to go.
Infinite: I say we go forward.

Cristina: Darn, we could take the completely wrong path here, so we gotta cash all our chips and hope for the best.

Luigi found two trails of footsteps, one belonging to Mario and the other belonging to Bowser.

Luigi: Two trails of footsteps belonging to my bro and Bowser!
Cristina: Alright, nice!
Smesh: Well, that's helpful. Where do they lead to?
Luigi: Wait... Is it me, or is there... A light coming from deeper in the woods?
Crystal: The hell? I see that...
Infinite: Let's go check it out.
Infinite took the lead and approached the light to find a village inhabited with people wearing Shaggy masks.
