"Dad?" Naruto asked again, rubbing his eyes as if he was just watching an illusion. A trick that his tired mind was playing on him.
The man standing in front of him had such a great resemblance to him, but the man looked younger than him. As if he was in his early twenties.
Slowly, Naruto began to approach the man, the man doing the same. But he didn't get to far though, as soon as he was close enough, his father had him in a tight hug. The warmth and the heartbeat coming from his father's chest proved that his father, Minato Uzumaki, the fourth Hokage was really alive.
The two of them took the time to enjoy their embrace, and their reunion. Until the pulled apart, Minato noticed that Naruto was crying. "You've grown so much," Naruto's father started, "and look at you, you accomplished your dream."
Smiling, Naruto cleaned his tears and hesitant, he moved back to his seat. "I'm sorry that we have to cut this short but we need to talk," as happy as he was to see his father, there was a problem that they had to discuss first. Lowering his gaze to the desk, he told his father to take a seat. "What...What happened?"
But there was only one person who could bring the dead back to life, or something close to that. But how and why?
It was Minato's turn to frown. "It was a young-"
"So far, there is only one person who possess that technique." Naruto explained, and although he once told his father about you during the fourth Shinobi war. He even told him how much you meant to him, how he had hoped that if you were found or if you returned to the village, that he would have liked to create something with you. But of course you were gone and well, he moved on. "[Name] is so far the only person who can create the body with flesh and blood, unlike Orochumaru. But for that, she has to have a body made of clay and original chakra." But the name didn't seem to have clicked on his father, so he probably didn't remember. "She left and was hiding for twelve years, she returned about a month ago. She has been a great accept to the village, but because of certain conflicts," he didn't want to go there, "she was forced to leave. We dispatched a team to search for her, but they weren't able to find her."
He was stunned and horrified. "Are you all out of your mind? How could..."
"I'm not sure how, but she wouldn't willingly do this, I don't know why."
Minato took a few minutes to remember about what his son told him so many years ago. But he didn't remember very well, but it appeared that you were a friend because he thought of you so highly. "She," he stopped to remember exactly what happened. His eyes narrowed as he remembered your chakra signature, but...There was another signature, he had been shocked and he didn't pay closer attention as he should have. "Now that you mention it," he leaned forward a bit, "there was another chakra signature. It felt as if they were trying to hide, but they were using their chakra."
Naruto didn't spring up in panic like expected, instead he just let out a deep breath, and as he did so, he slumped back on his chair. "You don't look surprised."
Naruto shook his head sadly, "no. The truth is, from what Orochimaru and Kabuto said, during those years we don't know exactly what happened to her but whatever it was, with the isolation and her experience, she was impacted by depression. During here stay here she seemed to be better, but..."
"What pushed to leave so sudden?" Curious he asked, if you were happy to be here then why did you leave? And why did you look so heartbroken when he met you.
Even thinking about it gave Naruto a headache and he dreaded talking about it specially with his dad. "We all know since we were children, and of course through those years...It was unavoidable that someone would fall in love with her...In her case though, it wasn't just one person. I don't want to go into detail, but, when she returned some of these marriages had...Hardships? I don't even know what to call it, and the only reasonable option for them was to blame her. So in hopes of not wanting to be the reason of their problems, she left."
Minato observed his son, the way his eyes lost the shine in his eyes it meant that he was one of this people. But what amazed him the most was that they were your friends, and you didn't seem like you were the main problem to their marriage failure. It was childish they they put that blame on you, pushing you away. "That was a childish way to solve the issue," but the problem at hand was serious, "I know she is your friend, but you must realize that she is a threat to any village. Once the council, and the rest of Kages find out about what she did, it is only a matter of time that they'll put a bounty on her. You need to gather a search team, and do the impossible to bring her back."
"There's a possibility that she could be at the Sand Village, but-" that's another issue that had to be made if that was the case. Gaara made it more than clear that you were welcomed to the Sand Village if you chose to, and he wouldn't give you their back even if it created him problems. "He is a good leaders and he knows of what a great asset she is, and he knows that there could be some strain between the Sand and Leaf Village, but he will be more than willing to protect her. Not just as a leader, but also because she is her friend, but because he also made it clear his intentions with her. Either way, if she's there, he's not going to let her go that easily."
"You don't look very pleased by it, even if that was one of the best options instead of having her vulnerable for anyone else."
"I am not, I promised her that she could find a home here. To be honest the Leaf Village has not been very hospitable to her despite the many times she sacrificed herself for the sake of others. If anything, the Sand Village will be the closest thing she could call home. I thought that when we found her here, that I could offer her shelter and a home. But once again, we failed her again." He sounded rather dissapointted.
"I understand now, but as much as I'll hate to say this, you're going to have to reveal my presence. However, you should be well aware that in doing so, and if she is really not in the Sand Village, she will be placed on the Bingo book. For now, you should gather a team and dispatch it, try to find her as soon as her. Otherwise she will be the most sought after. “He adviced, and that was not what Naruto wanted to hear but he probably already knew it.
"Thank you, I'll gather the team, for the time being I'll find a good place for you to stay. I know it's not ideal, but it would be best to hide but I'm sure you already know. I'll...I'll tell Kakashi to find you somewhere to stay." Standing up, Naruto offered.
While he did so, Minato couldn't help but feel that Naruto was just going to have to be strong for what was about to come. If what Naruto said was true, the last thing you wanted was to give anyone problems. So you would definitely not be at the Sand Village. So it will be inevitable but you'll find yourself in so much danger. With a bounty placed on your head, people will set out to kill you. The council will realize that with the threat you possessed to everyone, the best solution would be to kill you.
Not only that, but whomever was responsible to use you to bring him back to life had placed this from the very beginning. Their purpose was to distance you from the other villages, and anyone else that could help you.
They probably also knew about your mental state, so that have been why he probably used a genjutsu on you. It was easy to trick you into reviving him. So he had other plans and those plans were to use your abilities further.
