Tears ran down Sakura's cheeks, no matter what she did she wouldn't be able to save her own child. All the years of training would nothing to help her injured daughter.
She had been too busy helping the wounded, while she allowed Sarada to help take care of those kids. Everything was wrong, she should have known, but she dismissed the thought and it was the worse mistake she could have ever done.
Her friends told her to hope, to hope that things would be fine and that she would recuperate. But how could she recuperate when she was almost ripped into pieces?
She begged Orochumaru and Kabuto for help, but even they said there was not much they could do to save Sarada. Sasuke's expressionless face was now filled with sorrow and pain. He had been here since she was admitted to the hospital, but having Sakura cry and cry was just too much for him to bear. So he left, he left and she couldn't blame him. It was so painful to see Sarada on that hospital bed, just barely breathing.
Her friends didn't visit just yet, they just wanted to give her time to be with her daughter. A small knock stopped Sakura from crying, and she thanked whomever it was because she was going insane.
Ino entered slowly, her eyes swollen to, probably from crying as well. Inojin had been injured but only a few cuts. "Sakura," she began to speak and when she was close, Sakura stood up from her chair and hugged Ino. Had it not been from I it's support, she would have crumbled to the ground as she broke into a other fit of cries. "Hey," the blond woman grasped her face in her hands, "I heard Naruto talking to Shikamaru. I heard them saying that the same thing happened in the Sand Village, and you won't believe it," Ino smiled trying to cheer the pink haired woman, "[Name] is there." Her eyes trailed to the young girl on the bed, "there's only one person who can save her, and that's [Name]. She's there Sakura, she can help Sarada."
[Name], the person she had blamed for the failure if her marriage, and then forced her to leave. The person that everyone wanted to capture because she was now considered a criminal. Cleaning her tears, Sakura jumped to her feet and ran out of the room.
She searched for Naruto, without announcing her presence, she opened the door of his office. Naruto was in the middle of a meeting with Minato, Hiruzen, Hashimara, Tobimara and Jiraiya. Said men turned their attention to the source of the attention. "Naruto, you have to help me please!" She began to cry once again, crumbling to the ground. "Please."
Minato rushed to her side and helped her seat on the seat he was occupying. "Sakura, have a seat."
Naruto looked at his friend as he watched her teary, swollen eyes. Just thinking of having one of his children in such a predicament, it made his heart ache. "Sakura..."
"She's there, isn't she? Please, please help me, I need to talk to her." Her, of course she would want to talk with her.
The others were a little lost until realization crossed their faces. Minato glances from Sakura to Naruto."Sakura, I understand your pain, but we must be reasonable. Her abilities are forbidden, and we're trying to ensure is that she doesn't use them any more. We cannot make any exception."
"No," she shook her head furiously, " I'm not going to stand and see my daughter die not when she can help her. Naruto," her gaze returned to the Hokage, "please."
How could they help her when they had been trying to create ways to retrain your abilities? Your abilities, even if they were stolen, had and are still creating chaos. They had to be stopped, but how can they just push it to the side and if ignore it just so that Sakura's daughter is saved. It wouldn't be fair for you, it wouldn't be fair to use you in such a way.
