It was only a couple of hours away, there was another camp located there. By the time you arrived, Shino was already waiting for his students, he instantly helped them with the bags of supplies.

As you emerged from the bushes, he didn't seem surprised to see you, He was probably expecting you. As soon as your eyes landed on him, you offered a small wave of hand and a smile. "Shino." But once close enough, you greeted him properly with a hug.

The male hesitated but returned the hug, "[Name], we heard about your awakening from Kakashi."

Of course, he would, shaking your head with a smile you looked around. This camp was definitely big, many Shinobi/Kunoichi from all Villages. Many of them looked tired, and bear up as if they had returned from a battle. "How is the battle so far? And why is the medical camo so far?"

"They're well protected, but they had to be moved there because they were the first ones to be attacked. We have one here, a smaller one but those with more critical wounds are moved there." He stopped, "and as for the war, we have been facing waves of them, but we don't have an exact location as to where they're coming from."

Otherwise, they would have ended the war long" ago. Damn Ayato, what was his purpose other than killing hundreds if not thousands of people? Maybe for his own amusement?

Slowly word began to travel as you continued to talk with Shino, and eventually you had the rest of your friends there with you. Goro had been the first one to tackle you into a hug, then Izuna, Itachi, and they continued to welcome into their arms. Even TenTen who had cried as soon as her eyes landed on you. She kept asking you for forgiveness, and she was torn from you as the others wanted to feel that you were indeed there.

For a few hours you talked with them, getting more information about what had happened when you were gone. Some even scolded you for not putting a lot of value in your life.

Eventually you all had to sleep, but while the others reluctant, returned to their tents only leaving you Kabuto, and Orochimaru. They remained there because according to Kabuto, they wanted to make sure that you were in fact fine.

"How...how this happened?" Kabuto asked with concern, he was thrilled to see you alive ,but he had seen your state, there was nothing that they did to help you heal. They had seen the state of your brain and it was a miracle that they kept your organs functioning, so they couldn't understand what had happened.

For a moment you contemplated lying to him, but you knew they would keep asking until they got the truth. Pursing your lips, you glanced from Kabuto to Orochimaru.

Orochumaru had a curious expression on his face and you could have asked that he even looked proud. "It was Momoshiki, but I don't understand why he did it."

"Momoshiki?" Finally Orochimaru spoke, "what did he do?"

"There was a syringe poking on of the small tubes connected to my body. Assuming from the liquid's color, it was blood."

That alarmed Kabuto as he jumped to his feet. "We've used Ōtsutsuki blood, but not simply injecting it into your blood stream."

Orochumaru nodded as he crossed his arms across his chest, thinking deeply. "I'm surprised you're fully functional, how do you feel? Any changes in your body?"

Shaking your head, you couldn't really say that there were any changes.Your body felt fine, just like before. "No changes, is it really that dangerous?" Wait, your eyes...Had they returned to their normal [E/C] color? Otherwise, they could have said something about it?

The silver haired male rubbed the bridge of his nose as he sat down on his previous spot. "We used Toneri's blood, to see if it would help you heal not only your injuries but also heal your brain. But it didn't work, we kept trying for a few months but with no results."

"Maybe it's too early to say what kind of effect it will have on your body, and we're not sure if it would be a positive effect or negative, but I am leaning more on the negative side." There were so many risks in just injecting you with pure blood, specially if they didn't know if it was your blood type.

"The best option we have is to go back to the Hidden Leaf Village and do some research. I cannot imagine the harm you're doing to your body right now by simple walking around." He stopped, his eyes widened. "What have you been doing since you arrived with Kakashi?" But your silence made him panic, "please don't tell me you...[Name], are you out of your mind?"

"I'm not going back," standing up and walking towards the exit of the tent, you narrowed your gaze, "we don't have time, and the lab was destroyed."

"Rebuilding it won't be difficult, and even if it took us months to build it, what matters is your health. We are leaving tomorrow morning." It was as if he had the final say on the matter, and he was doing all of this only for your well-being.

Something, something just snapped. You felt a wave of anger, disappointment, exhaustion, and other emotions that you couldn't understand. "I'm sick of it." There were tears at the corners of your eyes, "I'm not going back Kabuto."

They were puzzled at the display of your emotions, which were not just one or two. "There's a risk of you dying, we ca-"

Shutting your eyes, you gave them your back. "I dead to begin with," they heard you whisper, "I'm so sick of all this...All this bullshit." The rage returned as you spun around. "I'm just so fucking tired of...Of being a lab rat of...Of having people trying to use me for these...These abilities. I...just.." No more words were able to leave.tour lips because you didn't know what to say. Before you saved Sarada, you had a good grasp of what you wanted, of what you dreamed of. A normal life, someone to share your life with, and kids had come your dream. Of course, you suffered from depression before , but the prospect of those dreams got rid of that depression. You were filled with life, wanting to live and see them come to life.

But after you died, because Kabuto may have kept your organs alive but you were essentially dead. Your mind, souls or whatever, had been in the limbo. Sometimes you even wished that you had actually died, that way you could live in peace. You wouldn't have to worry about...This.

Letting out a long and shaky breath, you banished from the camp into the forest. You wanted to be alone, to be able to calm down and maybe even process your thoughts. As soon as you had the opportunity to be alone, you broke into tears, your body shaking as you cried.

Maybe you were being pathetic, but you were so sick of living like this. This was how your whole life had been, you didn't blame Kabuto for the experiments that we done on you. No, because he earned your trust, respect over the years. Orochumaru had been the main culprit, but even when you were facing him, knowing that he accepted his mistakes was enough for you to forgive him.

You were tired of always being a lab rat, because that was what you were. Whenever there were complications in your body, in order to save you, Kabuto had to experiment.

And then there were the countless people wanting to use these abilities for their own selfish and evil things. It was exhausting to just live, try to survive and so on.

Your life was so wretched that even your father had wished you were dead. The life you lived was anything but happy. It a moment in your life had been filled with real happiness, so why would it even matter if the consequences of Momoshiki injecting you with blood was death? Why would it even matter if you died? Because there was one thing that life taught you so far, it was that your only existence was mere for use.
