While Kakashi kept watch, Kiba rushed to Naruto's home. It was too late but he needed to know as soon as possible. When he arrived, he knocked on the door harder than he intended.

Most of the lights were off, meaning that they were sleeping already. He hated to wake Naruto up, but this had to be done now. So he knocked and knocked until a very sleepy Naruto opened the door.

The blond male yawned rubbing his eye as he opened the door. "Kiba, do you know what time is it?"

"It is, but what I have to tell you is urgent." His eyes glanced behind Naruto to make sure that Hinata wasn't close. "Naruto, [Name] is back."

It was the air was knocked out of Naruto's lungs, he stopped breathing. His  yes widened, looking very awake. "How...Where..."

Kiba explained the situation to him, Naruto listened carefully until he was finished. "You need to make a decision before she decides to leave."

Naruto frowned and sending him what seemed to be a glare to Kiba. But he shook it off knowing that Kiba had a very good reason to be worried. "Tell Kakashi to keep her on sight, you do the same thing. Since you gave her time to think about, let's stay on that. If she decides to stay, we'll keep a close eye on her but if she decides to leave then we will have to stop her."

What he said wasn't because he didn't trust your reason for being here, but because he wasn't about to let you go again. He failed to stop Sasuke once he wasn't about to make the same mistake.

He dismissed Kiba while Naruto shut the door and entered. Despite how serious the situation sounded, a smile reached his lips. You returned, you were back. He was so happy that his heart rate increases and he doubted he would get any sleep tonight.

___

You couldn't sleep at all, only a day, it was just that and two of them ready knew who you were. Maybe you got cael

Though you had to make a choice of wether to stay or not. Quite frankly, although Kiba gave you an option, you knew you wouldn't be allowed to leave. Besides, you didn't particularly feel like fighting a friend of yours who you hadn't seen in twelve years.

You had those options, but his words made you really reconcider things. What if you stayed? Even the shower didn't help calm you down. But, deep down you already knew the answer.

It was early, and you were pretty hungry so you decided to go out and get something to eat. But when you exited the inn Konohamaru was waiting outside as if just he had just arrived and was just staring at it. His eyes widened and a grin reached his lips. "Finally."

"What are you doing here?" He probably detected the suspension in your tone as you walked closer.

Konohama scratched his head. "It's not everyday you meet someone  who can beat you in a drinking contest. I was talking about last night, and Iruka already knew it was you." Though he left the part as to how he found you. Though your only guess was that he probably checked the other inns.

What a small world, you laughed. "Well since you're here, why don't I treat you some breakfast. It's the least I could do after the humiliation from last night."

Shaking his head, he laughed. "Please lead the way."

"I'm still unfamiliar with all the places, why don't you recommend something? “Eagerly he led the way but he took you to Ichiraku Ramen where only a few people where eating. Though two sets of blond hair, made you stop walking.

You could recognize that hair and that outfit anywhere, it was Naruto and from how similar the kid at his side looked, he must have been his son. Said boy grumbled as Naruto pushed a bowl of ramen to him, while the boys crossed his arms and looked away.

That's when he locked eyes with Konohamaru, and left his father behind. Naruto turned around following his son, in the process staring at you and Konohamaru.   The corners of his lips lifted, and you could see the happiness in his eyes. He stood up as energetic as ever, but allowed you both to approach.

"Konohamaru, good to see you." Naruto greeted the male, though as soon as his eyes landed on you, he continued with his friendly facade until something must have clicked. His smiled seemed to have widened, and he almost seemed as if he was really having trouble fighting from not teaching forward.  "Who's your friend?"

Konohamaru seemed to have sensed it as well, specially since he didn't take his gaze off of you. He knew, he knew everything and you   owe it Kiba. Shino kept the information to himself and yet Kiba had spoken to Naruto. Why did he have the need to talk to him?
Konohamaru noticed the way you frowned which stopped him from talking and instead he prepared himself just in case he needed to protect the Hokage.

You weren't able to ignore that the small exchange made Konohamaru cautious. "He told you didn't he?" If it wasn't true then confusion would have shown on Naruto's face, but the only reation from him was a socked one. Ripping the mask, the purple chakra devoured the fabric into ash."He didn't believe me did he?"

As if on cue, Kiba appeared behind Naruto. Kiba felt regretful but also determined in what he believed. "You can't leave, you’re safer here."

"I'm not," that was not the reason, you should have known. Taking deep breaths, you calmed down.  As angry as you were though, you couldn't  stay angry with Naruto. With him knowing the truth, there was no need to refrain yourself. "Either way, I am really happy to see you, and to learn that you became Hokage. I'm off by years, but congratulations Naruto, you deserve it."

The male jumped forward and  almost talked you to the ground as he embraced you. "You're such an idiot for hiding for so long. But I am glad your back."

Once you pulled back, Konohamaru and Boruto kept watching, Konohamaru more confused than ever. "Am I missing something here?"

Naruto grinned. "You probably don't remember how she looked but, she's [Name] [Last Name], an old friend."

Konohamaru seemed to try to remember, once he remembered the name his eyes widened and there was a small blush on his cheeks. "Hold on, you're..."

Kiba raised an eyebrow as he watched the embarrassment on Konohamaru. "Wait a minute, were you-"

Konohamaru shook his head and his hands in denial. "We met last night." But that didn't sound very good, "damn it Kiba." He stuttered, and he took a few minutes to compose himself. "On another note though, you look...In your early 20s."

You should look around Naruto's age, since you were in fact older. Sensing your hesitation, Kiba spoke. "That's because of her healing abilities."

"Anyway, umn...What is going to happen to me Naruto? Err, Hokage?" Turning your at Naruto, you asked unsure if your should start calling him by Hokage rather than his name.

"It's okay, you can call me Naruto." Although he had been laughing, his smile banished and then he panicked. "That's right! I have a meet or I am going to be late!" And just like that, he was gone and Kiba followed.

That only left Boruto and Konohamaru. That's when the man realized that during the exchange of words, Naruto failed to introduce his son. Surprisingly enough the boy remained in silence. "[Name], this is Boruto," he pushed the boy forward, "Boruto this is [Name], a friend of your father's."

"Yeah, I heard you all, I am not deaf." Though Boruto seemed rather uninterested and even irritated. "The exams are about to start, can we go and train?" He turned to Konohamaru, a glint of determination on Boruto's eyes much like his father.

Smiling, you locked your gaze with Konohamaru's. "Before you leave, I'll like to apologize. I intended for my identity to stay hidden, and only stay for a few days."

Boruto started to leave uninterested by the conversation. "It's understandable, though now that I know who you, I hope to get to know you better." And he followed Boruto, leaving you alone to laugh.

The warm feeling in your chest, you liked how you felt here. Maybe you could make the Hidden Leaf Village your home because it felt like it.
