This place was like the others, devoid of any life do it only made sense that Kawaki brought them food and water or they wouldn't be able to survive here. It had been a long time since they were brought here to this world for over a month now.
They were just, there, seating down because there was nothing else to do there. So, as soon as the two of you arrived, they were so close into attacking Kawaki if it hadn't been for you who stood in front of him, they would have definitely attacked him.
But they stopped, they stopped as soon as they spotted you. Naruto, who had always been of an extrovert, so you weren't surprised when he was the first one to greet you first. He almost sent the two of you to the ground when he tackled you into a hug. "It's so good to see you." The blond male hugged you so tight, and he didn't let go right away.
Once you pulled back, you faces the person closest to you, which was Gaara, and you hugged the male and then you continued with Sasuke. "Im glad the three of you are fine, but we should go back. You guys need a nice meal and of course, some well deserved rest."
Kawaki stood alone, watching as you greeted the males. Though once you were done, you noticed how uncomfortable he was and you moved back to stand at his side.
"Before we do that, there are a few matters that we need to talk about." Gaara began as his gaze glanced towards Kawaki and then back to you. "He's labeled as a criminal and there will be plenty of hunters trying to capture him."
But he didn't mention that you were too, because that was how it was. Perhaps you had not been chased right away because everyone was busy with their Village being attacked, but now it was a whole different thing. "He isn't the only one, I know that after what...I did, I am also going to be hunted down. And before you offer your village for my protection," because it was what Gaara always did. It didn't matter to him what you did, he always, always tried to prioritize you. " Please don't, you all will have a lot to fix once you return, so just focus on that for now."
Sasuke had not spoken until now. "Do you plan to banish again?"
It was what you needed to do, at least until things calmed down. The people would not want you there anyway..." Actually," you glanced at Kawaki, "right now my only options are either ask for Toneri's help. Maybe he can keep us hidden at his home, but the other possible option is to ask for the Akatsuki for help. It's probably the best option, for what we need right now." You promised Kawaki to find a way to get rid of that seal and for that you needed help, Nagato and the rest of its members were very reliable.
"Then ask Toneri, at least we will know where you will be and how you will be doing. Don't banish on us again, just like you've done so many times before." Naruto wasn't wrong, you had afterall tried to stay out of their lives for good.
"Not right now, Naruto, did you know that Boruto has the Kāma seal?" He was puzzled, not sure what you were talking about.
"It's a seal which makes the person a vessel and the probability for them to be done an Ōtsutsuki member." Surprisingly enough, it was Sasuke who provided him with that information.
The Hokage's eyes widened in shock. "How was that possible?"
"I don't know, but what I do know is that if he wants it to be removed we need to know how. From now on you all will be really busy to find any information that can help to remove it." Kawaki moved closer to you, his shoulder touching yours. "That's why I can't just hide at Toneri's home. I won't be able to do anything, but the Akatsuki members will be more than able to help us. I'll report all the information that we find to you three. The others should be looking for us, come on. Kawaki, do you think you can take us to the others?"
