Sasuke's Ending Part 5

Something that you have found to be normal in your life was that your menstruation. It didn't happen every month, in fact, you would only get it maybe three to four times a year and only lasted about a day. Kabuto and Orochumaru could not explain why, but eventually concluded that it had to do with the fact that your body was always changing. So they blamed it on that, and after the first try of the treatment and with its failure, you had to wait. And wait and wait but so far they still had to create another treatment. 

But, it has been a few months now since the first try and it has been a couple if days now that you have not been feeling so well. You had been feeling nauseous most of the time, and you were a little shaken off.  "You can't keep this up, you need to tell Kabuto or Orochimaru about this." This wasn't the first time he had told you, and he was growing more worried. But seeing you shutting your eyes to try to calm your stomach, you didn't respond. The only thing you heard was the door of the room being opened and then shut. 

By the time he returned, you were almost asleep and Sasuke had to shake you a bit to wake you up. That only made your stomach twist, "what?" You groaned as you tried to open your eyes, only to land on Kabuto. 

Sasuke wasn't the only one worried, the way Kabuto looked at you, he too was anxious to see you in such a state. 
"Can you please lay on your back?" 

With a groan you did as told and allowed Kabuto to work. You were not sure what he did, but when he studied your belly he stopped. His lips opened once but no word came out. His hands were gentle as he studied your stomach, but he stopped only to glance at Sasuke and then back at you. "Well," a small bump, a tiny bump was on your belly. Any other day he would suggest that you were bloated or something of the sort but...That small bump wasn't the cause of that. 

It... Unconsciously his hand caressed your stomach and a small and yet sad smile adorned his lips. He would lie if he said he wasn't felling... Jealous and hurt but this was what you chose, and you've dreamed of this for so many years that he was still happy. It was what mattered, that for once you were happy and for once you obtained a piece of what you always dreamed of. 

"Well?" Sasuke must have seen the way he was acting and he didn't like it at all. 

Kabuto stood back allowing the raven haired male to see your stomach, though he must have already seen it before. But even he wasn't sure about it, more so because it was just noticeable and well...You weren't exactly very normal. According to everyone, the treatment that they came up with was a failure. So, your symptoms were something to be concerned about...Until now. 

The two of you kept staring at you, all the while you shut your eyes once again. What Kabuto didn't understand was how was this even possible. The way you reacted to the treatment lead them to believe that it did not work, and from that day, you had not go through any other treatments. He'll have to study that more and maybe, just maybe he would be able to find a proper treatment. 

Snapping out of his daze, he turned to Sasuke, who was now glaring at him. He was about to open his mouth to speak but you sat up abruptly, it took you a minute before you opened your eyes. "What's wrong?" 

"So far," despite the smile on his lips, he didn't like how his heart felt as if it was being torn from his chest, "the treatment seems to be working at some extent."

"It does not look like it," Sasuke snapped as he walked to your side and placed his hand on your shoulder.

"Sasuke," it was a small warning to let him know that his attitude wasn't right, "let him finish please."

The other male continued where he left off, "I'm not certain how it's even possible, we thought the treatment was a complete failure. However, the symptom you have are... Surprisingly enough," he paused, "you are pregnant. How...Long has it been since you had these symptoms? When was the last time you had your menstruation?"

He didn't get an answer, not when the pair heard the word pregnant. You froze completely for a few minutes, and Sasuke wasn't doing any better either. But once the shock was over, tears began to trail down your cheeks and that was an indication of your happiness. 

Sasuke was quick to hug you and you quickly grabbed on to him. This wasn't the first time that he would be a father but...His chest felt like it would explode from happiness. Happiness from having you as his lover, to finally share his life with the person he truly loved. Happiness from...From knowing that you, you would have having his child. He couldn't explain in words as to how happy you made him, but the tears spilling out from the corners of his eyes, despite trying to stop them, was enough to let you know how happy he was. 

He continued to not only hug you more but kiss you, kissing you passionately. It didn't matter if Kabuto was watching, he wanted to show you how much he loved you. 

"Sa-" between your sobs, you tried to tell him something but he didn't need to hear you to know what you meant. 

"I know," he smiled as he held your face in his hand, caressing your cheek, "I love you too. And the two of you continued to shower each other with affection that it drove Kabuto away.  The male face the two of you some privacy, but as he left he couldn't help but wonder... These symptoms appeared not long ago...So how many children were you expecting?
