"How does it feel?" Despite your cries of pain, you still managed to make out Sarada's voice. Her steps reached your ears, she was maybe a meter or two away from you.

But having her there only made you whimper, "please, not now."

"How do you think mom felt all those times she cried?" She asked walking around, much like the predators do with their prey. "You have no idea how many times I had to listen to her cry, all because of you." She spat. "She had been so happy with my dad's return, but then you appeared and you ruined all of that for her, for us. So I am glad to see you are finally getting all the pain you deserve."

Cleaning your tears from your cheeks, you let out a shaky breath, hearing her words weighted on you more. But it also made you furious having to take all of that guilt on you, as if you really had been at fault. She took a managing step towards you. "The truth is that you're a homewrecker, it was not enough to ruin my parents' marriage but the others' as well. Does it make you feel good?"

At the lack of your response, she continued.
"It's the truth, if you had never come back none of that would have happened." You couldn't understand why she had all this hate toward you. None of what she said was true, and even if their marriage was broken because of your return, it wasn't because you had been forced to stay. You had to put up with everything, being treated like a criminal.

Jumping to your feet, your hands curled in fists and a glare directed towards her. "I said that's enough!" You started to breathe faster, "if I had not come back you little ungrateful brat, you wouldn't be here right now. I'm tired of your bullshit, of you acting like a small little child."

Sarada opened her lips to reply, but before she got to that, Sasuke emerged from the shadows. "Sarada, that is enough." The look he sent her made her shut up and then storm off.

Looking out at your hand, you realized that your fists were covered with your chakra. You had not realized how Sarada's words affected you this much. If Sasuke had not arrived, and she had continued, you would have attacked her. Emotionally you were not right at the moment, and she took advantage of it. Maybe it had been her goal, to take advantage of the rage so that you would attack her, and then she would show the others.

"I'm sorry," Sasuke spoke noticing how you stared at your hands. He knew that if he hadn't arrived sooner, you would have attacked her. As much as he wanted to be angry, he couldn't be, because Sarada had made the mistake of invading your privacy and most of all, taking advantage of a moment of your weakness.

Instead of saying anything to him, you walked into the forest. He didn't follow you, which you were thankful for. It was not dark as to prevent you from seeing, by the shadows of the trees were the ones that created more darkness. But you were still able to see despite the darkness, and it made you feel more comfortable. Once again alone, you found a log of a tree, once which had fallen quite some time now. In frustration, you pulled as the roots of your hair, and you trembled with not only rage but sadness too.

You didn't ask for anything other than just a moment to be alone, but even that seemed too much to ask. "I still cannot understand why you let them all step on you the way they do."

Of course, it had to be him. " What do you want?" Sounding so defeated, you questioned not having the energy to even raise your head.

Not a sound was made as he landed on the log, at you left. He proceeded to jump down and then sit down. His shoulder made contact with yours, sending a small wave of warmth towards your body. Unlike Kakashibor any of your friends, you felt bothered by it, but even so, you remained on that spot. "It's rather amusing to see how every time you come to help them, there is always someone stepping on you. And you let them."

"What do you want?" Finally, you straightened and turned your head to look at him.

His gaze remained on you, looking closer into your eyes. Maybe he was looking for that small change in your eyes after he injected with blood, but now it was gone. His eyebrows furrowed as he glanced away.

"It's gone, if that's what you wanted to see." Lazily you informed him. "

"Your friends are wrong in their assumption." A look of distaste crossed across his face. "What would make them think that we could..." Looking as you from the corner of his eye he continued, "mix our bloodlines."

"Right now I could care less about their assumption, unless you're here to kill me, then do it or leave." You looked around for a place that seemed comfortable, you weren't going to return to came tonight. Going back would mean having to face Kabuto, Orochumaru and who knows who else.

If anyone found out you were taking with Momoshiki, they would be asking you why you didn't do anything to kill him. He had caused pain to others, but you didn't have the will to or energy to do so. If he wanted he could really just kill you right now, and it didn't bother you one bit that as you got comfortable positions against the truck kf the tree and shut your eyes, you could die.

Momoshiki was left seating down on that log, observed as you leaned against the trunk of a tree a few meters up in a tree. He could never understand emotions, they made even the strongest person weak. You were enough evidence, you were powerful enough to do whatever you wanted, but you let your emotions get the better of you. They weakened you.

Her heart pounded in her chest, her hand grasped the front of her top trying to calm down. She was scared, if her father had not arrived, you would have attacked her, and she knew how powerful your chakra was.

"What's wrong with you?" Her father asked as soon as she entered their tent. He was furious and it wasn't with you but with her. "How could you be so thoughtless and inconsiderate?"

Her eyes filled with rage. "I just told her what she was! What's so wrong with that?!"

Taking a deep breath, Sasuke sat down on one of the cots. "Sadara, there was nothing for you to say to her other than show your gratitude. She saved your life in exchange for hers. And you knew why she was there alone, you knew she was hurting and you..." It pained him to think that his own child had enjoyed seeing you in pain, she wanted you to suffer and without a reason.

"Hurting?" She scoffed, "my mom was hurting when she took you away from her. It's her fault that you left mom. If anything she deserves all the pain in the world."

Something in him snapped, but before he realized it, the words were out of his mouth. "I never loved your mother like I loved her."

Sarada opened her mouth in shock, tears beginning to leave the corners of her eyes. The regret was there as Sasuke tried to speak but the hurt in her face stopped from complicating the situation.
