After a war, it's hard to life normally, or at least it takes some time. And after a few weeks, things seemed to fall back to normal. You were lucky to find a small village, and at first they didn't let you join their village for obvious reasons. After a few days of hanging around, they decided that you were not a threat to them and allowed you to be part of the small village.
The village was small and poor, but the people were kind once you were accepted. Unfortunately, the war taught them not to trust Shinobi, which was why you hid that part of your life. You wanted to start from scratch, to be normal and things were just looking promising.
Though, for a few days you had doubts when Momoshiki showed up and well, it threw everyone into a defensive mode. Not that they would have been able to stop them, but you stopped the man from attacking and managed to convinced them that he wasn't a threat.
The male was behaving, and even stuck around when you told him that the deal the two of you had wasn't going to take place.
But after all those rocky moments, life was as you wanted it to be. No more people seeking for you to help them, no more fighting and no more pain. Your memories were still returning, and that gave you a bigger sense if your identity.
However, your heart was sent into a frenzy when there was a grand commotion that sounded that it came from the Village's entrance. The food around concocted of hunting small animals, so that was what you had been carrying as you were making your way back to your small home. Momoshiki trailed behind you in silence, as you got closer to your home, you glanced towards the angry crowd. From the distance you noticed the famous blond hair and even the white hair, you knew who was here.
Deep down you knew they were here for you, but you looked away and continued to go inside your home. Momoshiki glancing back at them before he entered the home that had become his too.
Throwing the hares on the table, you proceed to take a seat on one of the two wooden tables. The blood stained the table but that was the least of your concerns."I really expected for you to run to them." Leaning against the door, Momoshiki spoke.
Placing your hands in the table and leaning forward, you let out a long breath. "Well, I was really hoping they would just move on with their lives and let me move on with mine."
"Good luck with that," finally he walked towards the other seat which was opposite yours, and sat down. "They're not going to leave if they know you're here."
You gave the villagers a fake name, but they had familiarized your face, so it wouldn't take them long for them to realize that the person they were looking for was you. It didn't matter though, if they left, the villagers would associate you with Shinobi and they'll kick you both out. "I'm know," standing up quickly your grabbed a sack and began to walk around gathering your things. "I'll leave before they realize I left." They had not looked for you before, so it only meant that they were here for you to do something for them.
But, there was a knock on your door and the chakra signatures already revealed who they were which was their goal. "[Name], we know you're there. Please we need to speak to you."
Boruto's words reached your ears, and although Momoshiki motioned for you to leave right away, you hesitated. There was desperation in the tone of his voice, and that was enough to pull your heart strings. Cursing, you threw the bag to the side and reached for the door. Just as you opened the door, Boruto, Sarada and others were waiting for you.
Sarada, Boruto and Shinki, looked devastated and from the dark circles under their eyes, it was clear they hadn't had a decent rest. Behind them stood Hashimara,Shino, Tobimara, Hiruzen, Goro,Madara, Izuna, Tobimara, and Mitsuki. Izuna looked as if he was holding back, but Goro didn't. He pushed the others to the side and hugged you so tight that your breathing was restricted for a moment.
