It has been such a long time since you came to Kiba's home, not that there many times. But this was the first thing you had to do, and you weren't sure if this was the right thing to do. Either way, you knocked on the door and waited for it to be opened.

A woman, who you recognize as Hana opened the door. She stares at you, and don't share the smile that rested on your lips. That is, until recognition strucks her and her eyes widened. But  that was short lived when she withdrew her hand back, and punched you on the nose, breaking it and making you stumble in the process. "That's for all the suffering you caused Kiba."

But only a small trail of blood was the evidence of the broken nose, since it healed instantly. "I deserved that," you laughed nervously as you cleaned the blood with the sleeve of your clothing. "Is Kiba home?"

Despite not wanting to tell you, she shook her head. "No, he'll probably be back late. What do you want?"

"I heard about Akamaru, how is he?" She hesitated but she allowed you to enter her home.

In silence she took you to a room, which was used to house their canine companions. Akamaru was resting on a small bed, and although at first glance nothing seemed to be wrong, but by the way he breathed...He wasn't okay.

He must have recognized your scent, his weakly began to wave his tail, and even tried to seat. But he was so weak that he couldn't. Your heart wrenched upon the sight, you ran your finger through his fur and then buried your face on his neck. You hugged him, but refrained to hug him to tight and hurt him further. "He doesn't have to long."

But you knew that already, t
Kiba told you. To think that Akamaru would perish and leave Kiba...It breaks your heart. If you had a companion like him, you'll want to spend more time with him. You wanted the same for Kiba and Akamaru. Without thinking, you began to cure him.

Hana just watched as your chakra began to envelop Akamaru, she wasn't so sure what you were doing other than trying to help him. But she remembered what you were capable of, and her eyes widened in shock.

It didn't take long before you were finished, and then Akamaru rose to his feet. You moved to the side laughing as Akamaru wagged his tail, and then jumped to your arms sending you to the ground. He licked your face, happy to see you again. "I'm happy to see you too Akamaru!" You scratched behind his ear, and then his belly. Once you both were done, he attacked Hana by licking her face making her laugh.

"He even looks smler and a bit younger." She commented as she told Akamaru to go out and play. "Thank you, you have no idea how Kiba will react but...He has been really upset lately."

"I missed Akamaru, I couldn't just stand and do nothing when I know I can help."

But she turned serious for a moment. "Why...Why does he look younger?"

It was a topic you didn't feel very good talking about. Truth be told, you haven't told anyone about what happened once. "It's...The technique I use,it transfers the condition of the body to mine."

Her eyes widened walking closer to you. "Age too?"

Nodding sadly, that's when a memory from years ago flashed in front of you.  "During the past twelve years I tried to help people, but most of them were young. The older generation were always skeptical." You took a long and deep breath. "Six years ago there was an old man who was terribly ill and he was unconscious. One if his children asked for my help, which I provided. But when I transferred his condition to my body..." You struggled to say the next words. "He...He wasn't the same old man, in his place was a young man. Younger than his own children."

She frowned, "judging from your expression it wasn't good?"

Shaking your head, you rubbed your arm. "No. His wife was dead, and he only had his children and grandchildren alive. It bothered him greatly, specially since some of his grandchildren were around his age. I tried to help him, but in the end I ended up destroying his family. I left as soon as I could, but before I left the village I heard that he fled, leaving those he loved the most behind. Had I known, and I should have, I wouldn't have helped him."
