Chapter 60

Ayato wasn't so stupid, he kept you in one place only which would guarantee him that he would be out of your wrath. There were other places for him to hide, but you had no idea where they could be. So it wasn't easy to find him, in fact, you were so angry that you weren't able to find not a single hint of where he could be. 

You were alone, Toneri only helped you for a little while but he had to return to his friends. You hated to be alone, it have you all the time in the world to think, and it was the last thing you wanted. There was nothing but negativity and time to doubt yourself and to question a lot of thing. But it was lonely, and you hated being lonely, it was awful admitting it but you grew used to have Ayato always at your side.

The vacant village didn't help either, not a single villagers occupied it and all thanks to Ayato who had killed them all. Finding a place to stay wasn't a problem, you had plenty of houses to choose. 

Overall, it was making you feeling desperate, you wanted to just be done with this. Sometimes you wished you could be like Ayato or other criminals, at least that way you wouldn't let anyone use you and step on you like people have done in the past. But it seemed that even without your memories, that didn't change. 

Steps, steps echoed as someone was walking towards the room you were staying at. For a moment you had a déjà vu  moment, so you waited seating on the bed. "Well?" But upon hearing the voice, you let out a curse, "have you thought about it?"

The offer, Momoshiki was still after the offer he made you and he was waiting for a response. It has been almost two weeks since  you settled in this journey alone, and quite honestly, you were so close, so close into accepting. The man opened the door and invited himself in.  But he was asking you to have a child with a man you barely knew. "No," frowning you glanced up at him, "why are you so...Set on it? Who are they and why do they want me specifically to have a kid and why do you want a baby?"

"You have incredible abilities, abilities that the Ōtsutsuki cannot absorb. The only possible way for the Ōtsutsuki to obtain such abilities is for you to prepare a child with one of our own." His calm and expressionless face showed a hint of dislike. "Which I do not understand why they are so willing to mix our blood with the blood of...Humans." 

Humans, he said the word with so much dislike and disgust as if he wasn't human. He sensed your confusion so he continued, "The Ōtsutsuki Clan is made of celestial beings, far more superior than humans. We are not from earth."

"What else?" You should be offended, but that was the least of your worries. 

"Like I said, we drive to make ourselves stronger, your child will have not only the abilities of our kind but your abilities too. Not to mention your chakra, it's unique and quite powerful." 

The way he spoke made you feel like some sort of animal that they were planning to breed. Grimancing, you looked away. "What will happen if I agreed? What would you do to my baby?" 

"That is not for me to decide, however, he will be well taken care of." 

It was wrong to talk about this, to talk about your child like...Like an object. But you were just so desperate, so sick, so damn tired of everything. "If I did choose to accept your offer," you swallowed, "what if I in the end decide not to give the baby up? What if I want to keep it?" Because it was a big possibility. 

"My orders was to have you reproduce one, I wasn't given any orders on taking it. What matters is that you reproduce one, the rest I don't care." 

Shutting your eyes, you let out a long sigh and you kept them shut for a few seconds, then you opened them and glanced outside the window. It was a price to pay, a price that concidering all the deaths you've caused, all the pain Ayato caused too..."By the end of our deal, if I decide not to continue to live, I want Toneri to take care of the baby." Because Toneri seemed like a kind man, willing to protect him. Did he even agree to the whole having a kid with you deal? If not, Momoshiki wouldn't be here.

"Like I said, my orders were for you to breed a child, what you do with it is up to you." 

Swallowing hard, you nodded. "We have a deal, I don't know i-"

"You need to start as soon as possible, I understand a pregnancy takes nine moths until you give birth. I'll find Ayato's location for you, for now I'll take you back to Toneri." No more questions asked, he took you back to the same place you were taken the last time. 

Judging by Toneri's widened expression, he wasn't expecting you. Though, just to make you feel better, he offered a friendly smile. "Hello [Name], how are you?"The way you looked, it was as if you were a total different person. He had seen you before, you had been such a strong woman before. The woman standing in front of him seemed as if you had given up on life, not that he blamed you. You've experced a journey filled with constant challenges, and pain. Now with the lack of your memories, you felt lonelier than you have ever been in your life. "I'll take you to your room, follow me."

You were silent, looking at the ground as you followed Toneri. Maybe some more rest would do you good, so he just you inside the room and returned to Momoshiki. Toneri glared daggers at Momoshiki, "what's wrong with you? I am glad you brought her back, but I know why she's here. Are you really expecting me to..To..To proceeded with your plans?"

"You are not the only Otsuitsuki member, there are two with the Kāma seal, still eligible for my mission if you are so unwilling to cooperate." Kawaki and Boruto, although not what he had in mind, "and if not them, I'll do it myself to accomplish my mission. Is that clear?" Without a glance Momoshiki disappeared. 

Toneri stared at the spot where Momoshiki was standing, then to the direction of your room. If he could be honest with himself, he dreamed of having someone at his side, to love and to be loved in return. Perhaps to one day have a family of his own, but this was not fair for you.   

There was someone who would be able to help you, maybe Kabuto or Orochimaru would be able to find a way to return your memories. Maybe they'll be able to bring the [Name] that he used to know, back. Despite the desire to protect you, to keep you here safe, away from any kind of pain, he wanted you back. Without Momoshiki, he was sure that you would be able to live here with him happily, but that wasn't the case. 

For now...For now what he could do for you was to speak with them and find a solution  to return your memories back.
