Okay guys, I have been struggling with writer's block for quite a while and maybe you all have noticed in the few past chapters. But I'll tried to get back to it, to write and update mostly because I know if I don't write anything and I don't post it, the story will end up forgotten. I have plans to finish it, then maybe even redo big chunks of the story but it that happens, I'll let you guys know. So, I apologized for all of this. Thank you.

Everything seemed to fall in place. It shouldn't be possible, but small pieces of your past began to crawled back. At first you confused them as dreams, but if you even had any dreams they were from recent events. These memories seemed from when you were a very young child, but they were definitely your memories.

That, changed things more than you could have ever thought. A new feeling of hope started to frown on your heart, and having supportive people also helped a lot. Having Minato, Jiraiya and Toneri improved your view of life.

That was why you didn't wait for Momoshiki to find Ayato for you. You realized that it was rather petty to rely on him, instead of looking for that man on your own. Even if your struggled to find him, once you came face to face with him, the more you would enjoy tearing him to pieces.

But, you were not alone on this mission, Minato and the other two joined your cause. They made the search so much easier, so, even if a few more weeks passed by, you finally found the bastard.

He was hiding in one of the Akatsuki hideouts, apparently he has no other place to use and he found that these places would be the last that anyone would search.

And yet, even when you were face to face with him, he still refused to acknowledge the fact that this time he would not escape from this one alive.
How much you wanted to tear him to pieces, to pull him apart piece by piece. That was what he deserved after all he had done, after all he did to you.

"I know how much you're itching to kill me," although there was a small army of undead in front of him, you were able to hear him. "But since you're so open to make deals," surprisingly enough, you were restraining yourself, "I have one for you."

But, oh, the way your eyes seemed to burn holes into his face, you were furious. "There is not a thing that you can offer that she will accept," Minato responded as be stood at your side from a safe distance. The Chakra that surrounded you was more than dangerous so he has to keep his distance.

Ayato didn't look away from you, "just to let you know that I have important information, I'll give you this one for free." The way you tightened your fists, you were giving it your all to refrain yourself. "I didn't plan this war on my ow-"

"There is nothing, nothing," you gritted your teeth, "that you can offer that is going to stop me from killing you."

"Wait," Jiraiya tried to stop you, but you moved before he finished whatever he wanted to say.

The small army of undead wasn't about to stop you, so you took care of the few that stood on your path and attacked Ayato. Letting out a long sigh, Jiraiya, Toneri and Minato finished the rest.

Once they were finished with them, they watched the two of you fight. Despite your rage, your attacks were calculated and precise. Minato has his eyebrows furrowed, worried perhaps from the same thing that bothered Jiraiya. "Who could it be that helped Ayato during the war?"

Minato shook his head, "it wasn't just someone helping him, Ayato was manipulated. I cannot fathom who it could be."

The worse part was, that the only one who knew about it was none other than Ayato. As much as they wanted to hear the information, they knew that he wanted something from you in exchange. That man damaged you greatly, so it would be I inhumane to ask you to let him speak. Although you could capture Ayato, he could be interrogated for the information but that did not guarantee that he would talk. Besides, you were so determined to kill him, anything they did would make you return to your older self.

So, they waited for you to get rid all of your anger. And it wasn't something easy to watch, your attacks were calculated, and not meant to kill him right of the bat. You were crippling him, incapacitating him, and going as far as literally tearing him apart.

Ayato was a challenge, strong but not as strong without the puppets he used. Now he wasn't that strong, so you were toying with the man. "Shoul-" Jiraiya questioned, wincing as he watched you grab the man with his wrist and tearing it from the rat of his arm. Almost, he almost stepped in, but Minato stopped him.

So, they were stuck witnessing how you tore Ayato's arms, hands, feet and then legs from his torso. It was so gruesome that they decided to turn away, but only for them to hear Ayato plea for his life. Those cries ended only for a few minutes as you continued to torture him, until there was some gurgling and then silence.

That was the cue for them the return their attention back to you and...What was left of Ayato. Which was not much, it was rather nauseating to see parts of flesh where and here. You gazes at the severed head of your enemy, the way you looked... Bloody from not your blood but Ayato, and the way you looked at what was left of Ayato...Was perturbing. "Was it worth it?" Jiraiya questioned, pushing some intestines to the side as he walked closer to you.

Your gaze was torn away from whatever part of Ayato's body, and you focused on him. "It was," running your hand through your hair, you let out a sigh.

"That...Was definitely not the answer I expected."   Ring honest, he sent a worried glance to Minato.

Minato wasn't happy either, but what was there to do? Naruto was clear about what he wanted. He wanted you safe, and protected, not that you needed any of it, you were more than able to protect yourself. But what would his son say if he told him about what he witnessed? Would he be disappointed?  Maybe not, Naruto thought of you highly, and although he didn't get to know the real [Name] that everyone knew, you were a kind person. "What now? What do you plan to do now?"

That caught your attention, as you opened your gaze and stared at him. "I'll be honest," you hadn't told them yet, "I've been getting glimpses of my past." Even with all the blood on you, you looked so calm and just so...Entrancing with your smile. "My memories are slowly returning," your smile widened as you looked away and just stare at the sun, "this is where we part ways." Once again, you looked at Jiraiya, Toneri and then at Minato.

"[Name]..." Toneri mumbled, almost as if trying to reach out for you.

"There's an opportunity for me to regain my memories, and maybe even a chance of having a normal life." Slowly you walked towards Jiraiya, and hugged him, the male returning it and hesitating as you pulled back. Then, you moved to Toneri and did the same, though the male was hesitant to return the hug. Probably because he wasn't used by it.

Last but not least, you faced Minato. There was such a big resemblance to Naruto and Boruto, he never told you what the two of them were to him so you assumed he was Naruto's brother. "So this is it then?"

Circling your arms around his form, you hugged him as tight, and then pulled back. As you hugged them, they were hesitant to let go and for good reasons. You four spent a well amount of time together, so a bond of friendship was formed.  "Yes, I'm done with wars...With Ninja. I thank you all for what you've done for me, if it hadn't been for your support I wouldn't have been able to make this choice. This is it for me," now with your farewell in order, you began to leave the trio behind. "Please give my apologies to everyone else and my thanks too."

Those were your last words as you continued to walk away, further and further away from them until you were just a dot in the distance. "Why didn't you both told her about it?"

With heavy hearts, the other two males began to leave as well. "She's had enough pain, she wants to start a new life, she deserves it."

Hesitant, Toneri began to walk away only for him to glance back to your direction. You were gone, but he wondered, would this be the last they heard from you?
