The following day, you woke up before Gaara. The moment the two of you shared that night was very special. You could still remember his kisses, his touches, it was something that you never had experienced before. You were happy that it was with him, that  you shared yourself with. But you couldn't stand waking up, having those same eyes of his watch as you left. You couldn't stand having to say goodbye to him. So, you left early that morning and you told Goro about taking back to the Leaf Village. But of course, he protested about how you had been treated. You cod have told them the information, but you knew that if you did, he would refuse to take part of it. So you lied, but Itachi was no food, he knew there was more to it rather than the conversation Sakura wanted to have with you.

Going back only took less than half an hour, it was still early when you arrived. People looked depressed, but you didn't expect anything different considering the recent attack.

"There's something I need to do before I can talk with Sakura," you told your friends, Goro nodded as he looked around but it seemed like he didn't quite catch on. "Goro," you smiled, because how could you not smile at the male. Despite how much he had grown physically, he had grown mentality, he was still very protective of you. "You can just go ahead and enjoy yourself."

It made you guilty not being able, no, you were able to tell him but you just couldn't bring yourself to tell him the truth. He wasn't afraid to cry, he didn't care who was around, he would definitely breakdown in front of you. He was not afraid to tell you how he felt, and he wouldn't hold back if you told him what you were going to do.

Now Itachi, Itachi could catch on easily, and he knew there was something wrong. Goro glanced at Itachi, smiling at the two of you. "Hey, you want to come?"

Itachi shook his head, "I'm going to find Sasuke."

"Alright," he grinned as he walked away.

Sadly you watched him go, knowing that that grin would be the last one you would see from him. But you would rather be left with that smile, and you would rather him see you composed and smiling rather than crumbling in front of him.

"Why are you really here?" He asked, suspicious that you had chosen to just come with a simple request to speak with you.

You could tell him the truth, but you just.. Why couldn't you bring yourself to tell him? Not just him but everyone else? Maybe because they wouldn't let you, Gaara was able to respect your decisions even if it was at the cost of your very own life. It was also because he had a son, he knew what kind of pain Sakura was going through. He understood that, although he would have taken other options. Gaara wasn't the type of man to place someone else's life before his or even his own son. He wouldn't sacrifice your life, he would never do it.

Exhaling, you started to walk. "Sakura's daughter, your niece was injured during the attack. Unfortunately, she lost one of her arms and her leg. You can just imagine how they're both feeling right now, so she just wants to talk to me about it. She wants me to help her." Looking from the corner of your eye, you caught Itachi looking at you. As if he knew you were not telling him the whole truth.

"Then why did you hide it from Goro?" Finally, he asked.

"We both know him if I tell him he's going to start arguing that I shouldn't do it. He's not the most forgiving, he's going to tell me not to do anything about it." Because that was the truth, Goro may be loyal, kind, and forgiving but only to those he considered close. "Anyway, I'm going to go and speak with Naruto. If you want you can go and see Sasuke, you have years without seeing him, and he probably needs your company."

With reluctance, he agreed to leave. Just like the last time, you walked to your parents' house, to see them. Your father may have told you to forget them, but they're still your parents. You wanted to see them, at least from afar.
