Chapter 24

Third Person's POV

It was time.

Today was the day.

"Party time!!!" Jackson yelled happily.

He just entered the room where Octavia and Souline were in.

They had changed onto their dresses and looked more gorgeous than ever.

"Souline, you are going to drive crazy some people in this house." Jackson smirked.

"More like a special person." Octavia teased.

"Who might that be?" Souline rolled her eyes.

They have been teasing her about Jungkook for a long time.

Saying stuff like he has been interested in you and stuff.

Stuff that make Souline roll her eyes.

There is no way he would be interested in her.

They're not like that.

They're not even friends.

They're just... people living in the same house....

Talking time to time when neccessary.

Her mind went back to the day he cried while hugging her.

The day he had lost Jisoo.

That was the most sad she had ever seen him.

The following day he pretended as if nothing happened.

What... really happened that day...

She wondered about that a lot.

What was that made him reveal that sensitive part about his life?

"Hello! Earth to Souline." Octavia waved her hands infront of Souline who was in deep thoughts.

"I am here. I am here." She laughed playfully pushing Octavia away.

"What were you thinking about?" Jackson wiggled his eyebrows.

"What do you think? She was thinking about how she will drive Jungkook crazy... Ow!" Octavia answered, earning a slap on her arm from Souline.

"Stop. Let's go." She rolled her eyes.

She couldn't deny it to herself though.

She hoped that, even through those masks, he could still find her.

Without realizing why, she hoped for that.

"Alright ladies, are we ready to party?" Jackson asked and the girls, on either side of him, linked their arms together.

"Let's go." Octavia and Souline said at the same time.

In the meantime, Jungkook was downstairs, welcoming guests.

No one in this house, knows about Jungkook being a Mafia Boss.

They only see him as the most handsome looking, famous owner of the club, "House of Cards".

"Oh... my... god..." Namjoon looked wide eyed past Jungkook.

"What is it?" Suga asked walking over.

"Aren't those Octavia and Souline?"

At the mention of Souline's name Jungkook turned around immediately.

He looked first but couldn't believe it, glancing at the same time, he saw her.

His breath caught on his throat.

"Beautiful!" The word escaped his mouth before he could even think.

Even hiding behind the mask, he noticed her.

She looked so beautiful.

Breathtaking.

He cleared his throat as he noticed her come over, along with Jackson and Octavia.

"Hi!" Souline smiled.

Jungkook caught himself lost on her lips.

Clearing his throat, he put the thoughts away.

Calm down Jungkook. - He thought.

"Hello! You look beautiful." Namjoon complimented before her eyes shifted to Jungkook.

Their eyes met.

He cleared his throat before leaning down to her ear, due to the loud music.

"You look beautiful." He complimented.

He took that time to take in her scent.

It drove him crazy.

"Thank you." She smiled.

She also took that time to take in his scent.

Her heart was beating so fast at their closeness.

"You look handsome too." She said back.

"Thank you."

Souline's POV

The atmosphere inside this house was driving me crazy.

So many fake people.

I smelled so much fakeness.

I felt like throwing up.

Taking the time, I walked outside to the backyard.

Staring at the stars, I found myself feeling so calm.

"Beautiful, isn't it?"

A voice suddenly said behind me.

A VERY familiar voice that I wanted to forget.

"Haneul?"
