Third Person's POV

It was morning.

The day after the crazy ball.

The party ended early, with Haneul interrupting.

Finally, they caught him.

He walked right in on his own trap.

Though, it meant that Souline could freely leave the place.

Or... could she really?

WOULD she really leave?

Leave behind all the friends she has made here in this place.

No matter the situation, it was here she made her first friends.

Would she leave that all behind?

Leave... him behind?

The sound of birds singing outside the window, and the sun shining through, made Souline squint her eyes.

"Ugh!" She groaned, covering her eyes.

She was tired but felt uncomfortable.

Opening her eyes, she noticed she was still wearing the dress from last night.

She was leaning on something... hard?

Turning her head to the side, she noticed she was leaning on a sleeping Jungkook.

She was shocked that they slept together.

But...

She couldn't help but take the time to admire him.

Awake, he is cold and mysterious, but sleeping, he is... well, just a bunny.

She found herself smiling as she stared at him.

She really compared him to a bunny.

"I see you are happy we slept together." Jungkook said without opening his eyes.

"Yeah, right!" She rolled her eyes pulling away from him.

He chuckled.

"Are you feeling better?" He asked and she nodded.

He placed his hand under her chin, turning her face towards him.

He saw the bruise still marked on her face.

His blood was boiling.

"I'm fine, Jungkook." She placed her hand on top of his.

He looked at their hands and then back at her eyes.

Their closeness made him nervous.

Their closeness made his heart beat.

"If you need me, I will be downstairs." He cleared his throat, getting up from the bed.

"Jungkook." She called after him.

"Yes?" He answered turning back.

"Don't do anything stupid please." She begged.

Not for Haneul.

For Jungkook.

She didn't want him to be a person like that.

He wasn't a bad person.

He was hurt.

By this unfair world.

And these fake people.

"Souline, stay out of it." He turned to walk out of the door.

"Jungkook, please." She took his hand on hers.

"Stop protecting him. He hurt you." He said angrily.

"Jungkook please, if you kill him, what difference will then be between you and him?" She asked.

If he were to become a killer then, he would be no different from Haneul who killed Jisoo.

"I am not like him." He shook his head.

"You aren't. You never will be." She shook her head.

"If you are going to beat him up, please do so. Throw some punches from me too," she joked, "But don't take it too far. Don't kill him because that will just mean he survived. He got no punishment." She looked at him with hope.

"Fine!" He sighed.

"You wanna come?" He joked to which she shook her head.

"I was joking love, I don't ever want you to see anything like that." He placed a kiss on her forehead before leaving the room.

Love?

He just called her love?

He took a moment outside of the door to accept what he said.

Love?

He called her... love?

Even she was taken aback.

Love?

For two people that have been hurt in this world... what is love?
