The Party Starts

After that, the rest of the week I couldn't stop thinking about the school dance, I was really worried about dancing with Nezuko-chan. Just thinking about dancing with her made my anxiety really bad! My hands would start sweating and they would even shake a little!

Eventually Friday came we all were on our way home to get ready for the dance,

"See you guys in a couple hours!!" Tanjiro shouted as he left the school grounds with Nezuko-chan. Inosuke looked back to me as he ran off too,

"Can't wait to see you and your girlfriend dancing!" He teased. I turned red,

"WOULD YOU STOP DOING THAT?!"

"It's true though!!"

I ignored him as I ran off to my house.

"Just calm down!! Everything will be fine!" I said to myself while I fixed my hair in the mirror, the last time I tried to do my hair I failed miserably, so I decided to do something more me. I did a side part in my hair, it wasn't a lot but worked. I looked at myself to make sure I didn't look bad, I was wearing a white dress shirt with a black blazer on top, I also had a yellow tie along with black dress pants and shoes. I have never worn formal clothes before so I felt really weird.

I glanced at my face and realized the bandage that Nezuko-chan gave me was still on my cheek, it had been almost a week since that incident so my bruise was kinda gone. I took the bandage off and stared at my cheek. I placed my hand where Nezuko-chan's lips once were, memories of the warmth of her kiss played through my mind like a film. My cheeks turned rosy. I clenched my fist, I won't let anything happen to you.

As I left my house I picked up some orange and yellow Marigolds for Nezuko-chan, I smiled to myself and hummed a happy tune as I cheerfully walked back to school.

"Oooh~ Who are those for?" Inosuke smirked as he saw the flowers I was holding. I and rolled my eyes,

"Why are you asking? You already know the answer."

"Because I wanna embarrass you." I blushed and looked away,

"Well......you're doing a great job at it." Inosuke laughed and shook me by the shoulders,

"HA! Get a hold of yourself!! I'm just kidding!" He grinned, "She's here!"

I turned around and my heart started to flutter, Nezuko-chan was wearing a short, yet elegant shimmery maroon dress, paired with sparkly white sandals that had a slight heel, and a long white bow around her waist. She had a pearl necklace and bracelet on along with a flower pin in her long hair, slightly curled, that rested below her hips. She was absolutely breathtaking!! My cheeks immediately started to burn up,

"Holy shit, she should come with a warning." I mumbled to myself as Tanjirou walked towards us with Nezuko-chan.

"Hey guys!" Tanjirou exclaimed as they walked towards us, I waved as I looked at them. My eyes locked with Nezuko-chan's and my heart skipped a beat,

Oh my god she is so pretty!

I took a deep breath and walked over to Nezuko-chan. "I-I got you some flowers!" I handed them to her with trembling hands and a nervous smile. "Also I really like y-your dress."

Nezuko-chan giggled, "I love them!! They look just like your hair!" I blushed and looked at her, then back to the flowers,

"Hey, I guess you're right!" I chuckled. Nezuko-chan looked up at me,

"Thank you for the flowers! You didn't have to get them for me though." I smiled and took my hand and grabbed her's,

"I didn't have to but I wanted to!"

Nezuko-chan blushed. She walked up to me and gave me a hug, "Everytime you give me flowers it makes me really happy." My cheeks turned bright red, I hugged her back, "Y-Your welcome!"

Nezuko-chan grabbed my hand, "C'mon! Let's go have fun!" I beamed,

"Yeah!" I turned around, "Hey what do you guys-" I cut myself off when I realized that Tanjirou and Inosuke had already ran off. I looked back to Nezuko-chan,

"I guess they already left. Oh well, lets go!!" I gushed with excitement as Nezuko-chan and I walked hand in hand into the school.
