A Dream Come True

The lights gradually came back on and I pulled Nezuko-chan back up to her feet. She looked me,

"It's definitely not just you, it is hot in here." she smiled, "Let's step outside."

I blushed, "Okay!" Nezuko-chan grasped my hand and we walked out of the school. The sun had set and the moon was out along with the stars that glowed bright. We sat down in the grass next to the cherry blossom tree. Nezuko-chan turned to look at me, who was fiddling with something. "Hey, what are you doing?"

I looked over at her and smiled, "I'm making you a flower crown!" Nezuko-chan giggled,

"O-Oh, okay!" She looked me straight in the eyes, "I had fun tonight."

I beamed, "Me too! I don't usually attend parties, but hanging out with you made it so much fun."

"Same for me, hanging out with you made this day even better." I blushed a little, I turned around and put the flower crown I had made on her head. Nezuko-chan chuckled,

"Thank you Zenitsu-kun." She leaned closer to me and kissed me on my cheek again, my face started to burn up from the feeling of her soft lips. I began to feel flustered again,

"W-What was that for? I'm not in-injured anymore." Nezuko-chan glanced at me with rosy cheeks,

"I know." She looked up at the moon, "You deserved that one." My cheeks grew redder and my heart started to flutter again. Then I noticed something, Nezuko-chan was shivering from the cold. I took off my blazer and placed it on her shoulders. She turned around to look at me and blushed,

"Oh, y-you didn't have to-" I stopped her by putting my finger up to her lips like she usually does to me,

"I don't want you to be cold, plus this is what a guy is supposed to do right? If I didn't do this, that would've been rude." I smiled

Nezuko-chan's cheeks turned even more red,

"Besides, it's not that chilly to me!" I said confidently, "So I'll be f-fine-" I was cut off by myself sneezing because I was cold.

"W-Well, maybe it is a little frigid out here...." I laughed awkwardly. Nezuko-chan giggled,

"Here Mr. fancy pants, let me help with that." She said as she wrapped her arm around me and pulled me in for a hug. My face flushed a crimson hue,

"Ah! Th-Thanks." I tenderly wrapped my arm around her too, she looked into my eyes, I smiled and pulled her closer. She leaned her head on my shoulder, my heart skipped a beat. This was a dream come true, it's not everyday that you get to do this with your crush. It was all so perfect it almost felt fake. The enchanting mood that surrounded us along with the stars and the moon shining bright was just like the dream I had, but even better because it was real. The cold didn't even bother me anymore, now that she was close to me it didn't matter. Nezuko-chan turned to look at me,

"Better now?"

I hugged her more, "Yeah.....you really do give the best hugs."

Nezuko-chan blushed,

"......So do you."

We sat there, staring into each other's eyes, I smiled.

I love you.

Sadly the moment was interrupted by a nosy boar, "Wow~ Isn't this cute!" Inosuke chuckled, Nezuko-chan and I jumped at the sound of his voice and let go of each other.

"Wh-What do you want?" I stammered. Inosuke just laughed again,

"The party's over and Tanjirou is looking for Nezuko."

"Oh..." We both said at the same time. Nezuko-chan and I stood up,

"Well, I guess this is goodbye for now...." Nezuko-chan sighed, she started to take off my blazer that I gave her,

"Oh, y-you can keep that." I offered.

"But it's yours."

"I-I know, b-but it's a long walk back to the Butterfly Estate and I don't want you to be c-cold."

Nezuko-chan smiled, "O-Okay." She gave my hand a squeeze, "See you later Zenitsu-kun."

Inosuke, who watched the whole thing, turned back to me as she walked away,

"What happened between you too?" I blushed,

"N-Nothing...."

Inosuke raised one of his eyebrows, "Are you sure that?"

"Y-YES! Why are you asking??" I hissed at him. Inosuke didn't say anything, he just pointed to his cheek,

"Is there s-something on my face?" I pulled out my phone and looked at myself in the camera, My complexion turned a bright crimson hue. There was a faint, glossy red kiss mark left on my cheek from earlier. I put my phone away looked back at Inosuke who was smirking,

"I-It's not what y-you think-"

"Oh yes it is what I think, the evidence is right there." He insisted, "That's a kiss, and you can't deny it."

My face was as red as a tomato. I wiped away the mark on my cheek,

"A-And so what if it is a k-kiss?" Inosuke moved his eyebrows up and down with a smug expression on his face,

"Are you guys dating-"

"NO WERE NOT!!!"
