I hurried, as much as I could, to get a shower, get dressed, and back a beach bag with the essentials. An hour and a half later, we were ready. "I guess it's a good thing I leave some of my clothes here huh," he said, pulling at the waistband of the pink and blue swim shorts that he had left from the weekend before. "Yes, because you've already said yes, so you'd have to go swimming in your pants," I replied. He shook his head with a smile, then took my bag from me, and opened the back door of his car. He set my bag on the seat, shut the door, then opened the passenger door for me. "Thank you," I said, sitting down gently. I didn't want any stupid accidents to mess this day up. I was clicking my seatbelt into place when he slid into the driver's side. "I would just stop somewhere and buy a pair of swim shorts, by the way," he replied, starting the car. "Shut up," I said, unable to stop the huge grin that was on my face. I felt giddy with excitement. This would be my first time to a beach in SoCal with Colby. Granted, I had been with my girls, and even with Justin. I love the beach. It's my happy place. Going with Colby made it even more happy. Plus, I was just super excited to get away from this fucking house. He winked at me, then pulled out onto the road. I killed the AC and rolled my window down. With the wind whipping my hair around my face, and Colby's playlist blasting through his speakers, I already felt amazing. This was exactly what I needed to get out of my head. It didn't take us too long to get to where we were going. When I saw the ocean waves from my window, I literally almost hung my head out the window like a dog, as I slapped the outside of the car door with my hands. I heard Colby laugh, but I couldn't look away from the sparkling water that was rolling up onto the shore. When he parked, I didn't wait for him to open my door. Instead, I jumped out and grabbed my bag out of the back. He walked around, took it from me, and shook his head with a smile. I grinned back and leaned up to press my lips to his. "Thank you for this," I said softly, looking up at him. "What my girl wants, my girl gets," he responded, then took my hand in his. We didn't rush as we walked down to the shore. Just took our time, enjoying the breeze and the smell of the salty ocean water. There were a few other people there, enjoying their time, but plenty of room for us to have our own space. It was hot, but the breeze helped keep it bearable. Once we found a good spot, Colby pulled the small blanket from my beach bag, and spread it out on the sand. I kneeled down, then sat, taking care not to hurt myself. The last thing I wanted to do was mess this up by being stupid or impatient. He sat beside me, and pulled out the sunblock, motioning for me to turn my back to him. I slipped my shirt off, and did just that. "Oh shit," I gasped, as the first bit of cold lotion hit my shoulders. He chuckled, and continued to rub it in, warming it with his hands. I let my head drop forwards, enjoying the feeling of the massage. After he had me covered in the back, I held my hand out for the lotion to do my front, and my face. "I can do that for you too," he suggested, cocking his eyebrow at me. I rolled my eyes and smiled, keeping my hand out. He shrugged. "Your loss. It would've been amazing." I laughed, and snatched the bottle from his hand. "I'm sure it would've been, but keep it your pants Brock. I'm more excited for the ocean than you right now." He held his hand to his check and let his mouth drop open in a hurt expression. "Damn. Ouch. I'm wounded." "No, you're not," I laughed, rubbing the lotion in on my legs. "The ocean may have me now, but I'm leaving with you." "You damn right, you are," he said. "Oh, did you take your meds?" I looked at him out of the corner of my eye, as I added a little lotion to my hand to rub on my face. I was too pale to go without, plus, skin cancer. "You mean, my ibuprofen and mild muscle relaxer? Yes, I did sir, anything else?" I saw the spark in his eyes at that word, and tried to hide the smile. "I remember the first time that pretty little mouth got smart with me. Do you?" I looked up at him, and smiled at the memory. "Not exactly. But I do remember when the way your eyes almost popped out of their socket when I told you that you would know when I wanted to fuck you." He laughed, throwing his head back, a huge grin on his face. He scooted closer to me and wrapped his hands around my waist. "I'll admit. You got me by surprise with that one. Either that's the one that stuck in my head, for obvious reasons, or that was the first time. Who knew that mouth could be so vulgar?" I giggled, and turned my head to catch his kiss. "Mmm, still sweet even if dirty things come out of it," he murmured against my lips. I shoved him back lightly, laughing, then stood slowly, to take my shorts off. "Come on. The water is calling my name," I said, shimmying out of my clothes. His eyes watched the progression of the shorts as they slipped down my legs. He jumped up, a lot faster than I did, and held his hand out. "As you wish, m'lady." I rolled my eyes, and put my hand in his. "You're such a dork. You better be glad I love you." "I am," he replied, tightening his grip on my hand. We started out descent towards the surf, letting the water hit our feet. It wasn't really cold, but neither was it warm. I felt my muscles tense at the sensation.
