"You'll be fine," Denise said, waving it off. "Actually, I am kinda tired so yeah. We'll see you guys later," Sarah said, before going around the room and hugging us all. Brennen headed outside to tell Sam and Colby that they were leaving. "Are you coming with us, or sticking around?" Sarah asked Denise. "I think I'll stick around. I'll just crash on the couch or something. Come home tomorrow when Terra does. Wait, has anyone seen Jake?" We all looked towards Corey, because we knew that Tara had went home earlier. "He's passed out in his room. A little too much Goof Juice," he said, folding his lips inside his mouth. "Makes sense," Kat replied, laughing. Brennen came back inside, followed by Sam and Colby, just then. "Okay, we'll see you guys later," Sarah said, waving. We all told them goodbye, then gathered back around the dining room table, except Sam and Denise. No, they wanted to see who was better at Ping Pong now, since there was no clear winner with the water balloon fight. "I still say we won," Colby said, nodding at Sam. "They know we did. That's why they want this rematch," he replied, bouncing the ping pong ball on the table. "Shut up and play," Denise replied, grinning. I shook my head, watching my best friend, and Colby's best friend going head to head. It was getting late, but none of us felt like going to bed yet. Instead, we took turns playing ping pong, Sam and Colby playing beer pong instead. We danced with Katrina, of course I had to take a break, because it got to be a bit much for me, but it was fun while it lasted. We just had a blast. I didn't even think about the fact that everyone was drinking. I was having too much fun laughing with and at my friends. I guess they were more like my family by now. It was nice to be surrounded by people you loved, and that you knew loved you back. Eventually, the night had to come to an end, and by 4am the night was definitely over. We all said our tired goodnights and made our way to our separate sleeping areas. Devyn made sure that Denise had a blanket and a pillow, but she was so drunk, I don't think she would've noticed. She was already passed out and snoring on the couch by the time Devyn made it back to the living room with the items. I just laughed and helped her spread the blanket over my friend, and then put the pillow right at her head, in case she woke up and wanted it. When Colby and I made it up the stairs to his room, I just wanted to collapse onto the bed, I was so exhausted. Instead, I took one of his t-shirts out of his drawer, and went to the bathroom to wash this make up off of my face. I tied my hair up in a bun and changed while I was in there. When I walked back into his room, I found him already on the bed, with his hat down over his eyes. I stopped and stared at him for a moment, wondering how it was fair that this man could be shit faced drunk, and still be so damn hot. "Stop staring at me," he grumbled, moving his hat up. My mouth dropped open and I laughed. "How did you know?" I asked. "I could feel it. You're always watching me. I know what it feels like now." I raised my eyebrows. "Well...I'm not sure how I feel about that bit of information," I replied. He sat up and reached towards me. He grabbed my arm and pulled me to the bed, until I had no choice but to sit down. "Come here," he said, making me lie back so he could cuddle up against me. "My shirt looks good on you," he replied, sleep coating his voice, making it deeper than usual. Before long, his deep breathing was in my ear, letting me know that he had passed out. Yeah, I could definitely get used to this life. The next few days, we all basically just spent as much time together as we could, since Sam and Colby would be gone this weekend on their exploring trip for the Netflix series. I knew he had to go and I would never want to stop him, but I was going to miss him. I was used to him being around all the time now. My home was empty more often than not, nowadays. With Denise getting closer to Elias, Kenzie spending her time at the Krac house, Sarah always with Brennen, and myself staying at the Trap House, it was basically just holding our clothes for now. Amber had tried to get in touch with me a few more times, but I just kept ignoring her. I'm not sure why I didn't just block her number. Colby told me too, Denise told me too, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I eventually told Denise what had happened, but I left out the part about what she did to Colby. I had told her that she just made it seem that way, but we had found out that it hadn't happened. I didn't want anyone to know about that. That was Colby's story to tell, if he chose to do so. Besides, with Denise knowing that Amber had drugged us both, it was hard enough making sure she didn't just go tear Justin's door down to figure out where she lived. She wanted to physically hurt her, and I couldn't blame her. I didn't want her to go to jail for that bitch though. It wasn't worth it. I was done with her. Denise promised as long as I didn't talk to her, see her, give her another chance, etc, that she wouldn't go kick her ass. So I promised, and I had every intention on keeping that promise. I just couldn't block her yet. I was sure that I would get there, but in the mean time, I just told them that I had already blocked her. She always sent the same thing. Just one word. "Please." That was it. I wondered if she was still sober this time, or if she had thrown that out the window.
