"YO COLBY! ARE YOU UP BRO?" I groaned, and shifted. I felt T's head move when I did. I opened my eyes and looked down at her. Her aqua eyes were open, and shining brightly. "Hey," she said sleepily. I grinned at how innocent she looked. "Hi," I replied. "COLBY, WAKE UP BROTHER." "Oh for fuck's sake WHAT?!" I yelled back. There was a quick knock on the door, but he opened it automatically without waiting for a response. "Bro, I could've been naked," I said, grinning at him. Terra sat up, and brushed her hair from her face. "I know," Corey replied, his smile faltering. "I'm disappointed that you're not." I cracked a grin, and shook my head. "What's up?" I asked. "Oh, Devyn and I are gonna invite some people over. I saw your car, so I knew you were here. We're gonna just have a day, play some basketball, things like that. You guys gonna stick around?" He looked from me to Terra. "Oh, hey Terra, how are you feeling on this fine day?" He rotated his wrist and held his hand up, palm up. She giggled at the goofiness that was Corey Scherer. "I feel fine Corey. Good to see you." "You too gorgeous." He looked back at me with a grin. "So? You gonna keep me and this beautiful lady of yours waiting or what?" I rolled my eyes and looked at T. She shrugged. "Yeah man. We'll be here. We might leave later, but for now, we're here." "Awesome," he said, clapping his hands together and rubbing them like he was an evil genius. "Wait, I don't like that look," T said, shaking her head. "What do you have planned?" "Why, nothing? Why would you think little ol' me was planning something? We're just gonna have some games ready for y'all to play. Don't worry, they'll be ones that you can play too T. I wouldn't forget you." I loved the way she just seemed to fit in with everyone. It really did make me happy when I saw how easy everyone accepted her. I hoped the fandom would be just as accepting but that was probably too much to ask. "Oh no, I'm scared," T said, her eyes widening as she let out a nervous giggle. I knew she was joking, but I also knew she was a little nervous. Our games always ended up being a little crazy. Sometimes people got hurt, but usually it was just us being stupid and having fun. Sam was the best at making the games. We hadn't played any in a while. I missed them. "Okay," I replied. "I'm down. I'm excited actually. It's been forever since we've played anything besides basketball." "Great, it'll be later, cuz I know you guys just woke up, but just wanted to see." He threw his hand up in a wave, and closed my door. I grabbed T around her waist, and pulled her back against me. She started giggling when I nuzzled her neck. "You seem to be in a better mood. How did you sleep?" She asked. I rested my chin on her shoulder and thought about it. The dreams still bothered me, but it was like a far away memory that I couldn't quite grasp. "Not great really, but I'm okay. I always love waking up to you by my side though." I watched the blush creep up her cheeks, and her head dip down. I loved it when she got shy. "Let's go downstairs and I'll make us some breakfast," I suggested. She leaned forwards, and turned to face me. One eyebrow went up, and a concerned look crossed her face. "What?" I asked. "What's wrong?" "You're gonna cook? Are you sure?" she asked, biting her lip to keep from smiling. "Shut the fuck up," I answered, laughing. "I can cook when I want too." She held both hands up in surrender. "Okay, if you say so. Let's hope you don't have to drive me to the emergency room to get my stomach pumped later though." We started bickering, throwing insults back and forth in a joking manner as we got up and headed down to the kitchen. "I bet I can cook better than you. I remember you used to live on Starbucks and grocery store salads," I said, letting go of her hand as we reached the kitchen. She sat down on one of the stools that was in front of the island. "It wasn't Starbucks, it was Joe Muggs but you wouldn't know anything about that. Way better than Starbucks. And I happened to like those salads, thank you. I was raised in the South. I can out cook you any day," she replied, then blew me a kiss. I laughed, and opened the refrigerator. I pulled out the eggs, cheese, milk, and turkey bacon. Then grabbed the loaf of bread from the counter. "When have you cooked? I'll believe it when I taste it!" I exclaimed, then grabbed a bowl to miss the eggs in. She eyed me skeptically, watching every move I was making. She was actually making me nervous. Christ, I could make a simple breakfast of cheese eggs, toast, and turkey bacon, but she was going to make me mess up. "Can you stop? You're making me nervous watching me like that," I said, faking a shiver. I grabbed a small frying pan, sprayed it with some butter spray, then set it on the stove eye to get warm. She rolled her eyes and smiled. "I always watch you Brock. Don't start that shit." "Just like look out the window or get on your phone. I'm serious. You're making me nervous and I'm gonna fuck shit up because you're staring. Didn't your parents ever teach you that staring is rude?" "Nope. They didn't teach me much of anything actually, so just shut up and cook. I'm hungry." I grinned, but felt the shock on my face as well. "Well...bossy little thing aren't you?" I said, then cracked the eggs in the bowl. Oh shit, I forgot the bacon. I turned back and grabbed another frying pan and put it on an eye as well.
