"Nah, just for you," he said softly, with a soft grin. I leaned down and pressed my lips to his, savoring the moment. His hands ran under my shirt, until he was gripping my rib cage. l leaned into him more, letting my hands travel to his hair and buried them there. His tongue ran over my bottom lip, teasing me, before he broke the kiss. I met his blue gaze, and my heart felt like it wanted to beat out of my chest from the love I saw in it. "I have an idea," he said suddenly, then patted my thighs to get off of him. I was kind of disappointed so I pretended to pout as I crawled over onto my side of the bed. He just laughed at my dramatization and rolled his eyes. "Later Princess, we have all day remember?" I couldn't help but grin at his playful mood, and remember when he use to call me Princess. "Fiiiine," I groaned out. "It's not my fault you're so damn fine though." He laughed again. "Get dressed so we can go." "Go where?" I asked, exasperated. "You'll know when you need to know. Now go get dressed," he said, then smacked my ass as I walked by him. "You're so annoying sometimes," I huffed out, heading towards the shower. I closed the door on his loud laugh and smiled to myself. I had no idea what he had planned but excitement was coursing through my veins. When Colby did something, he would make sure that it was fun, exciting, special, or all three. I rushed through my shower, and the process of getting ready. I didn't worry about makeup because, you know, Georgia, and I threw my hair up into a messy bun. "Ready," I said, catching his eye in the mirror as I finished my hair. "You look great," he said, letting his eyes roam over my body. I had chosen to go with casual comfort style. We could be hiking for all I knew, so I just chose one of his merch shirts that he had given me a while back. I didn't usually wear pink, but this one I liked. It had his logo, Take Chances, on the front in purple block letters. I tied it at my waist, because it was a little big, then just paired it with a pair of black shorts. "I look like shit," I replied, turning to face him with a smile. "But I'm too excited to care." "You never look like shit," he said, taking the few steps to stand in front of me. His hands found my hips, and he leaned forwards, pressing his lips to mine. The kiss was filled with a hunger that automatically had a fire coursing through my veins. I buried my fingers in his hair again, pulling  him closer. He groaned into my mouth, and pulled me tight against his body. When I thought we weren't going to make it out of this room for whatever surprise he wanted to do, he pulled away, leaving me wanting more. His hands were still on my hips, and my fingers were still buried in his hair as we stared at each other intensely. "We should go," he said, his voice rough and gravely. I nodded, and pressed my lips to his for another second or two. "Okay," I agreed, pulling back. As much as I wanted him, I wanted to see what he had planned even more, if that were possible. We got into the car, and he pulled off like he knew where he was going. "Where are we going?" I asked, knowing that he wouldn't give me a straight answer. "You'll see," he said, then grinned at me. "Just tell me," I pouted at him, sticking my bottom lip out. "Nope," he said, turning his head away from me. "I can't see. Gotta keep my eyes on the road so that look isn't going to work. Patience love," he said, an amused smile on his lips. "Uuugh," I groaned out, and crossed my arms. I wasn't really upset. I just liked messing around with him, and he knew it. I watched the trees get thicker as he drove along a familiar road. "Wait," I said, sitting up and watching the scenery. I had grew up here. I knew most of the roads, and where they led. "Colby," I said, staring at the house when he pulled into the driveway. Amazingly, it wasn't grown over, letting me know that the owners were still keeping the yard up. The old plantation home was just as gorgeous as I remembered it. The blue flowers were well kept, growing up against the side of the house, the shade from the big trees fell over the house, making it look like it was trying to hide. He parked the car, and I rushed to get out. I stopped in front of the car and looked up, taking in the entire beautiful scene in front of me. He came up behind me, and put his arms around my waist, his head on my shoulder. "Happy?" he asked. "Unbelievably," I breathed out, in a hushed whisper. I turned in his arms, put my arms around his neck, and met his gaze. "How did you know where to find this place?" I asked, still in amazement. I had never even given him the slightest hint of where the house was. My secret place. "Mrs. Gail actually. I just asked her where any empty old plantation homes were in the outskirts of town. She told me about two. One was run down and overgrown with weeds. I prayed that wasn't the one that you loved so much. Then she told me about this one, that had the blue flowers surrounding it, giving it a serene presence. I knew this was it. So, I got directions from her, and here we are." He looked so hopeful and proud of himself. "You're amazing," I said quietly. "What did I do to deserve you?" He just smiled, and kissed me softly. "Come on, let's look around." He took my hand in his, and we walked closer to the old house that had been my safe place for so long. "Does it look the same?" he asked. I nodded. "It does. Maybe a little older, but the owners have kept it up nicely."
