My work was sought after by the big names in the entertainment industry and I still took nature still shots for my own personal enjoyment. Sam and Colby were still as strong as ever with their duo channel, although most of their time was taken up with their Netflix series, which had been renewed for season after season. Eventually, they each moved on from their personal YouTube channels. Sam and Kevin teamed up and became a motivational speaker duo. People came from all over the world just to hear what they had to say and to be taught by them. Colby, surprisingly, got interested in helping people who were like me. And like Elias, and Aryia. Fellow addicts. I was surprised when he had first contacted Justin to get information about how he could help. Justin was wary at first, but soon became excited as he spoke about it. This had always been his passion. They ended up speaking more and more, until Colby came up with the idea to start his own clinic, of sorts, for addicts. It took time and effort, but he always had been persistent. In between filming for his show with Sam, he put his energy into this new project. The center was finished within a year, and he named it 'The Amber Project.' Justin came to work for him, under another doctor, as one of the nurse practitioners. This just meant that he would have to get any medications or treatments approved by the doctor before administering them to the patient. They implemented different forms of therapies, group counseling as well as personal and family therapy. Colby loved what he had made and you could see the joy and pride in his eyes when he told others about it. Denise ended up getting really interested in the music industry being with Elias. She couldn't sing for shit, but she was very good at promoting him and persuading businesses into letting him perform. Being his manager seemed like a good position for her, especially since they ended up getting married. Sarah and Brennen moved in together, and she finally achieved her dream of being an actress. Small parts at first, but when she was chosen to play a larger role, her talent shown through. She became a big star in a very short time. Kenzie and Kevin moved in together in the same neighbor hood as the Trap House. Kenzie was busy writing her second novel and doing freelance articles for companies, including my own. Sam and Kat got married years down the road. I could never figure out why they waited so long. Katrina was very well known for her music, and she thrived in it. Jake and Tara settled down together as well as Reggie and Cassie. Xepher and Griffin were still as cute as ever. It seemed like we were all getting our happy ending. Justin even met someone at the clinic. Her name was Belle, and I really liked her. Within a year of knowing one another, they got married. Within the next year, Belle was giving birth to the most adorable little girl that had her father's eyes. Even Mrs. Gail had her happy ending. I flew back to Georgia to be her matron of honor, in her marriage. She really became the Preacher's wife and she loved every second of it. Last I heard, Levi and JJ each found a girl and fell in love. I kind of lost track of them after that. Our friend group tried to hang out as much as possible. It seemed to get harder the older we got, with our different work schedules and trips. We vowed for get together at least once a month though, if not more. Our thirty's came, making us realize that it wasn't really as old as we had once thought. The time passed by so quickly. Sarah was the first to get pregnant. A little boy who had Brennen's curls. I remembered laughing at how scared he looked when she was screaming bloody murder at him from the contractions. She was a better mother than I thought she would be though. She absolutely adored little Liam and he had Brennen wrapped around his finger as well. I watched as our friends started getting pregnant, and while I loved my job and traveling, I had to admit that baby fever was starting to hit me hard. I held baby May May (Mariah) and bounced her on my knee as Denise and I met up for our weekly visit. Sometimes the other girls would join us, if they could, but she and I made it a priority. Mariah was almost a year old now. Denise looked completely worn out, her hair a mess, and some sort of stain on her shirt. She also looked happier than she had ever looked in her life. Motherhood suited her, and I was intensely jealous of my best friend. Sickness overcame me suddenly, and I held the baby out to her in a rush. I ran to the bathroom and let the contents of my stomach empty. It was over just as fast as it had hit me. I rinsed my mouth, and patted my face with some cold water, before walking back out holding my stomach. "Are you okay?" Neece asked, a concerned look on her face. I nodded. "Yeah, I think so. That was weird. I felt really nauseous, but as soon as I threw up, I felt immediately better. I would say food poisoning but that's now that works. You think I have some kind of weird virus or something?" A slow, large smile crossed her face as she nodded at me. Why would she be smiling about me being sick? "I do think you have a weird virus. One that will last about nine months, give or take." I was confused for a split second before I realized what she was saying. "No," I replied, shaking my head. "There's no way. I'm on birth control. Colby and I haven't even talked about it in depth yet.
