After I got the bacon strips laying on it, I turned back to her. "Damn right. Especially when I'm hungry," she answered, then pulled out her phone. I shook my head, and tried to ignore her. Once I had the eggs whisked well, I added a little salt and milk to the mix. When I poured it into the now hot pan, the sizzle it made was satisfying. I grabbed a spoon and started to mix the eggs, then turned them down to cook a little, while I flipped the bacon. "Oh my God, that smells so good," she moaned. "When the hell did you learn to cook? Actually? You've survived on Post Mates since before I even met you." I laughed, and shrugged. "This is easy. I can do the main food groups. Bacon, eggs, cereal, and mac n cheese." She rolled her eyes, but I saw the faint smile that she was trying to hide. "Fucking dork," she muttered, picking her phone back up. I laughed again and turned back to the stove. It didn't take long before I was piling bacon, eggs, and toast with jelly onto her plate. I swear she was almost drooling, staring at it. I made my own plate, and sat next to her. "Oomph gon haf ta do dis all dime no," she said, her mouth full. "Gross," I said, laughing. "And also, huh?" She finished chewing and swallowed, rinsing her mouth with the glass of OJ that I had poured for her. "You're gonna have to do this all the time now," she repeated, her mouth free of food. "Don't count on it," I answered, putting a forkful of eggs into my own mouth. "No, you've shown me that you can cook a little without burning the house down, or injuring yourself. Plus, this is fucking good." She looked so serious, I couldn't help but feel a little pride. "It's just eggs, damn," I replied, a little embarrassed. "And bacon," she replied, then planted a greasy kiss on my cheek. "Oh gross," I said, laughing, while I wiped my face with hand. She started laughing, and wiped her mouth with her napkin. "That was disgusting," I said, smiling at her. I felt like our worries were a little less this morning. I still didn't know what I wanted to do with the Amber situation because if I were being honest, it was kind of embarrassing. I couldn't imagine going into a police station and telling them that I was sexually assaulted. I shook the thought from my mind, and paid attention to the light smile playing across Terra's lips. I would love to make her breakfast every morning for the rest of my life. Whoa! Where did that come from? I was too young for that...Sam and Kat had been together forever and still hadn't made it official. I wasn't sure they would to be honest. They seemed happy with the way things were for now. "You're so sexy with jelly on the side of you mouth," I said, taking my thumb and wiping the corner of her mouth. "Oh my God," she said, covering her mouth, her eyes going wide. I laughed again. We were doing a lot of that this morning and it felt amazing. Somehow, we had let things go as much as we could. Her accident and pain, the situation with Amber, all of it. I guess we had been through so much that we were starting to realize that we had to make the most of each moment because you never know what the future will bring. Seasons come and go, and not everyone isn't meant to be part of your life forever. I had lost my fair share of friends over the years, but I had also made friends that I was confident would always be around. Then there was Terra and her friends. Who knew what PlayList would bring all those years ago. The smallest moments can change your life forever, if you let them. We finished our food, and Terra rinsed them and put them in the dish washer for later. We headed back up the stairs to my room, to change and get ready to be on camera because I was certain Corey would be filming. Which meant that I was going to have to pretend that I wasn't with Terra. Honestly, I was so sick of it, but I didn't want her to catch hate. I was going to need to have that talk with her soon though. There were already speculations about her when I would post on my story and she would be in the background or one of the other girls. For now, they thought she was just Brennen's girlfriend's friend. Brennen and Sarah weren't back yet though, and she was about to be in Corey's video. "Hey, when is everyone suppose to be back?" I asked as we walked inside my room. She sat on my bed, and lay back, her legs on the ground. "I can't be expected to answer questions when my stomach is so full." She sat up, a suspicious look on her face. "Are you trying to make me fat Brock?" I rolled my eyes at her dramatic ways, and laughed. "Yes. That way you'll never leave me because you'll my food too much," I answered. She pouted, and brought her legs up onto the bed. "I'll never leave you because I love you too much dumb ass." "Ditto," I answered, then pulled out my phone to text Sam and Brennen. I wanted to know when they were going to be home, and I wanted to see if Elias or any of the others were coming over today. I didn't drink last night, and honestly, I still felt the need, just to let loose and try to forget all of the bullshit for a little while. "T, you know everyone's probably going to be drinking. Probably smoking weed. Are you okay with that, or do we need to decline and go to your place?" I didn't want to make it any harder on her than it had to be. She shook her head. "No, I'm fine with it. Strangely enough, Amber doping me up made me not want anything. It disgusted me so much, that I don't even crave anything. At least, for now."
