"Go make that bread baby!" she said. I laughed and turned back to meet Colby's gaze. "Thank you," I said softly. "No problem," he replied, smiling. "Now go." So I did. I rushed through my shower, fixed my hair, did my makeup, and picked out my most professional outfit, in record time. When I walked back into the kitchen, I had the pleasure of watching Colby's mouth drop, and even Elias and Denise widen their eyes. "Whoa," Elias said, and Denise quickly elbowed him in the ribs. "Sorry," he said sheepishly, looking at her as he rubbed his side. She grinned, and leaned over to kiss him. "It's okay, this time. She looks extra hot so I'll let it pass." I looked away from them as their kiss got more heated, and met Colby's gaze. The look in his eyes was pure hunger, and had me clenching my legs as I stared back at him. My outfit was modest with the slightest hint of sexy. A almost fitted white blouse, tucked into an aqua skirt that matched my eyes. I had paired it with a chunky aqua necklace, matching dangle earrings, and white chunky heels that wrapped around my ankle. I felt a little uncomfortable because I was a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl, but I also felt sexy. The skirt was fitted, showing off my curves, and fell just below my knees. It had a slit in the side that went mid thigh. Sexy but not too sexy. "Well?" I asked, doing a little spin. He still had that hungry look in his eyes, as he walked up to me. He placed his hands on my hips and ran them up and down over my skirt. "I like this. A lot," was all he said, his voice husky. I barely took a breath back into my lungs, before his lips crashed down on mine, stealing that breath. Then I forgot again. I forgot that I had a job to go to, I forgot that I was nervous. I forgot that we were standing in my kitchen, with Denise and Elias right beside us. I forgot that I had just done my makeup and that there was a good chance that it would be ruined now. My hands circled his neck and buried into his hair, clinging there, as I melted into him. We were lost in each other for maybe a few minutes, maybe a few hours. How was I expected to know that when I didn't even remember where I was? When he broke the kiss, we were both breathing hard. "Well," I said, trying to catch my breath, and calm my heart, which was now racing. His lips turned up on one corner as he held my gaze. Then I remembered where I was at and what I was supposed to be doing. "Damn it Colby!" I exclaimed, pushing back against him so that he would let me go. "You stay away from me with that damn look of yours. I'm not trying to be late to whatever this job is." His chest and shoulders moved as he tried to hold back a short laugh. Denise and Elias didn't both holding it back. They both let out loud laughter that just annoyed me. I scowled at him and crossed my arms. "It's not funny Colby. Aren't we late? Shouldn't we leave?" He grinned at me, that mischievous glint still in his eyes. "I have an in with them. It'll be fine." I rolled my eyes at his egotistical remark, then walked to the fridge and grabbed another energy drink. I felt like I was going to need it. "Okay, well I'm ready so let's go. Are you?" I asked, eyeing his joggers and ripped t-shirt. He shrugged. "It's not my job. I don't need to dress up. I don't really think you did either, but I like it." He let his eyes roam my body one more time, then met my gaze and winked. Teasing asshole. I ignored the butterflies in my stomach, and popped the tab on my drink. "Let's go then," I said, after drinking a little of the fizzy drink. I was nervous on the way to wherever we were going. My stomach was doing flip flops, and I was trying to make sure that I didn't forget anything. "Wait!" I yelled, as we were riding down the road. I startled him and he slammed on the brakes for a second, making my seat belt lock. "Jesus Christ T, what?" he asked, looking at me like I was crazy. I bit my lip and looked at him sheepishly. "Sorry. I forgot my camera. Can we go back so that I can get it?" "You actually almost just made me wreck because you forgot your camera? We've had enough car accidents to last a lifetime. Don't yell at me like that, fuck." He really looked shaken up and it made me feel bad. "Sorry. I just freaked out when I remembered because I kind of need that to take pictures." He let out a breath and stared at the road. "It's okay. Pretty sure they have cameras that you can use, but we'll turn around if you want. I know how you are about that camera. You need to upgrade though. It's old." I glared at him, even though I saw the little smirk on his face. "My camera is just fine thank you." I didn't say anything for a moment, thinking about if I wanted to get my camera or not. Could I even do a decent job with another camera? I was so used to mine and knew exactly how it worked. "Well? Do you want me to turn around or not?" He asked, taking the next exit off of the freeway. "No, I guess not. You don't think they would see me as unprofessional since I didn't bring my camera?" He shook his head. "No, I think it'll be fine. Trust me," he replied, glancing at me, then holding his hand out to me. I placed my palm in his and locked my fingers around his hand. I was fucking nervous, but this small act was helping to calm me down. I finally payed attention to our surroundings, and noticed something. "Colby, where are we going?" I asked, leaning forwards to see where we were. "To a neighborhood. They like to do their shoots at their home sometimes."
