Previously on Come Back To You, Harry and Jesse returned to Earth-1, Kara-2 coming along, where they revealed Jesse had gained super speed from the second dark matter blast. Harry hoped everyone will dissuaded her from using her powers.

Elsewhere, foster child Frankie Kane developed metahuman magnetic powers that manifest as an alternate personality, Magenta, who attacked her abusive foster father. Julian confronted Frankie at the station and was nearly killed by Magenta. Barry learned from Magenta that she got her powers from Alchemy. She escaped and later went to the Central City Hospital to kill her foster father by dropping an oil tanker on the building. Barry created a vortex to hold the tanker in place, while Kara-2 held up the pressure of Magenta's force, but Barry was unable to confront Magenta simultaneously. Harry sent Jesse to help. She took over the vortex while Barry talks Kane into gaining control over Magenta.

Wally, grappled with disappointment over having no speed, realizes he was having the same dreams from "Flashpoint" that Kane describes.

Harry told Jesse and Kara-2 that he will support their decisions and presented Jesse with her own speedster costume.

Joe later showed Barry and Julian footage of Clariss being killed in his cell by an unseen force, manifesting only as a flying ball of white light.

National City
The DEO

When Barry and Kara arrived one morning before work, they walked up to J'onn who was still bitter that they have yet to find Mon-El. "This is outrageous. A rogue Kryptonian on the loose just as the President is due for a visit," he said.

Not a Kryptonian, thought Barry, but then he realized what J'onn said. "Wait, what?" Barry asked.

"The President is coming here?" Kara asked.

"Yeah, she wants to tour the DEO while she's in National City to sign the Alien Amnesty Act," J'onn said and both Kara and Barry grinned.

"It's amazing, an executive order allowing aliens on Earth to come out of the shadows and live as full citizens. She's making history," Kara said.

"Not in my book, I think she's making a big mistake," J'onn said.

"Now, how can you of all people say that?" Barry asked.

"Because it's been my hard experience that humans and aliens don't mix," J'onn said.

"What about you and me? What about us?" Kara asked.

"We can look like them, we blend in, a lot of aliens can't. And people in this world don't have much tolerance for others who look different. I say that as an alien and as someone who's worn the face of a black man for 15 years," J'onn explained.

"J'onn's right. I can count the number of good aliens I know on one hand, with two fingers to spare," Alex said.

"Well, I'm just glad the President doesn't see things the way you two do," Barry said and Kara nodded in agreement.

"I'm so glad you feel that way, Mr. Allen, because you can tell her that when you meet her. Or when Supergirl does," J'onn said and they looked at him, taken back.

"What?"
"What?"

"She expects National City's highest-profile alien to greet her on the tarmac. And she's heard about Supergirl secret Agent boyfriend," J'onn said.
