Previously on Come Back To You, A new vigilante appeared and started killing some of the criminals.

Mon-El continued his escape plans. Lillian demanded Kara come to Cadmus. Kara was overpowered by the real Hank, who was enhanced and called the "Cyborg Superman."

Winn and Iris helped identify vigilante criminal targets with James help to try and stop the serial killer.

Lillian forced Kara to deplete her powers, giving the former the chance to take blood samples. Jeremiah saved Kara and Mon-El and helped them escape by staying behind.

Kara finally approved of the Guardian, unaware of his true identity only known to Alex. Mon-El recognized feelings for Iris.

Meanwhile, J'onn began having hallucinations about White Martians in the DEO. M'gann warned him about the transfusion and revealed that White Martians figured out how to weaponize their blood; if it is in a Green Martian, they become a White Martian, which was happening to J'onn.

Alex finally accepted Maggie.

Iris was staring at Wally's cocoon like state, with Joe next to her, when she heard someone walk up behind her. She turned around to see Mon, slowly walking in, staring at Wally's state. "Mon?" Iris asked.

"Hey...what happened?" Mon asked, and Iris looked back at Wally cocoon while Mon walked up next to her.

"Wally...he um, Alchemy did this to him," Iris said then Kara, Barry and Caitlin walked in.

"Can you tell anything?" Joe asked Caitlin, who started to check Wally's vitals.

"Wally's alive in there, but his vitals are really subdued. His brain function is low. Something like you'd see in a coma patient," Caitlin explained.

"I was in a coma after I got my powers. Maybe it's a similar process," Barry said.

"Can we take him out?" Joe asked.

"When a caterpillar is in its chrysalis, it literally breaks its body down into enzyme soup before rebuilding as a butterfly. If this cocoon is doing the same thing to Wally, I just...I don't know," Caitlin explained.

"You're right. You don't know. None of us knows a damn thing about what's going on in there. And I feel like a fool just standing here listening," Joe said before he started to walk out.

"Dad?" Iris asked, looking after him, and he stopped walking, turning to the group.

"Look, I've said it before...I don't have the education most of you had. The science of what we do here is mostly lost on me. But what I do have...is my detective skills and my instinct, and time and time again, I don't use them because you guys all tell me that everything is gonna be okay. Everything is not okay," Joe explained.

"I'm sorry, Joe," Barry said.

"I know you are. But I can't just stand here. My gut is telling me I need to do something," Joe said before he walked out, and Barry sighed before he faced Wally. Kara looked at him to see the face she knew all too well.

"This is not your fault," Kara said, taking his hand, but he looked at her.

"Yeah, it is," he said.
