Abandoned Warehouse

As Winn started to get the machine turned on, Marcus, his mother and the other Phorians' eyes glowed purple, and they looked in like they were in trance. "Marcus?" James asked as the ground shook, papers flew everywhere, and the lights flickered. "I don't think it's working, Winn."

"There's too many of them. This isn't working," Winn said and James looked at him.

"What's wrong with it?" James asked.

"It's made for two, not twelve! We gotta get out of here. This much telekinetic energy between these Phorians...The entire city is in danger," Winn said.

"I am not leaving him," James stated sternly.

"Well, what do you wanna do?" Winn asked.

"Well, they're linked telepathically, right?" James asked and Winn nodded. "So, if I break through to him, maybe he can break through to them." Winn nodded once more and James looked at Marcus in worry.

L Corp Facility

Supergirl, Mon-El and J'onn crashed into a facility in the desert, where they found Lena at computers and Rhea standing by her. They both looked back at the three, Lena in worry, Rhea satisfied. "Turn it off!" Kara yelled.

"I can't," Lena said.

Determined, Kara tried to destroy the huge device that was holding the purple portal just miles away from them. But with everything she had, the device wouldn't turn off. "Why won't it turn off?" J'onn asked.

"I don't know, she must've made it self-sustaining somehow," Lena said.

"What did you do, Mother?" Mon asked sternly and Rhea smiled at him.

Abandoned Warehouse

"Marcus!" James yelled as Marcus was still in his trance. "I need you to look at me! I told you I would keep you and your mother safe and I am not breaking that promise!"

L Corp Facility

Mon eyed his mother carefully, and figured out what was going on. At least, part of it. "You're bringing something here," Mon said and Rhea smirked.

"What?" Kara asked.

"You'll see," Rhea and Kara glared at her. She ran at her, and pinned Rhea against a wall. She then pulled back to punch Rhea, but the Queen held the punch. She pulled Kara out of her way when J'onn ran at her. She kicked J'onn down then threw Kara against a wall. But the weight of the punch, caused a punch a objects to fall down — on top of Lena, which knocked her out cold. Kara dodged Rhea when she tried to punch her, then Kara punched Rhea in the stomach, which caused her to fall to the ground. Kara then flew out of the building, leaving Rhea with her son and the martian.

"Marcus, I need you to hear me! I need you to let me in like you would let a real friend in!" James exclaimed as Winn ducked for cover from parts of the building crashing.

"James, it's not working! We have to get out of here!" Winn exclaimed.

"I'm not leaving them!" James yelled.

L Corp Facility

J'onn looked outside to see that Rhea's portal zapped Kara, and crashed her to the ground. In reaction, he looked at Rhea in pure anger. "You don't mess with my family," he gruffed but before he could do anything, Rhea pulled out a device, which whirred. This caused J'onn to stop moving, and his eyes turned red. He looked terrified and sad in this sudden trance.

"What is that?" Mon asked.

"A White Martian gave me this," Rhea said.

"What are you doing?" Mon asked.

"The White Martians developed this technology in order to keep the Greens under their control," Rhea said as he dropped to his knees, transferring into his alien form. "It traps a Martian in his own mind. A never-ending nightmare. Pretty savvy if you ask me."

J'onn dropped to the ground as Rhea walked away and Mon went to his side. "J'onn! J'onn!" He called out, as pure anger enraged him. "You've learned a lot of things about this world, Mother."

"I've had to," Rhea said as Mon stood up. She then turned around to see Mon pointing a gun at her.

"And did you learn that we're not bulletproof here?" He asked.

Abandoned Warehouse

"Whoa," Winn muttered as the shaking brought him to the ground. "James!"

"You just have to look inside of yourself and see the strength and the courage that I see in you," James said to Marcus as he also fell to his knees. He was practically in tears, so scared he couldn't get through to the boys he saw as a son. "You're not alone." But Marcus still didn't move. "You are not alone!" Suddenly, Marcus snapped out of his trance, and he looked at James in front of him. He ran into his arms, and James laughed deliriously. "Hey there."

"That is a hero without a suit," Winn said and James chuckled.

L Corp Facility

Rhea eyed his son in surprise, but she knew he wouldn't hurt her. "Put the gun down, Mon-El. You don't want to hurt me-"
Rhea started.

"Shut up!" Mon yelled.

"The human girl was right. You are a hero of Earth. But would a hero kill his own mother?" Rhea asked but Mon kept the gun up. "When you were a boy and I would put you to sleep at night, you used to say to me that you would always love me. And even though you've turned your back on me, I know you love me."

"Where's Father?" Mon asked but Rhea stared at him, suddenly emotionally. "Where is my father?!"

"Your father was so hurt when you abandoned us that...he took his own life," Rhea said and grief shot Mon like a bullet to the heart.

"No," he muttered.

"Mon-El, you are not going to kill me. Whatever you think of me, I'm still your mother," Rhea said and Mon sighed heavily before he put the gun down. She smiled at him, but looked at the computers when they started beeping. "We were not the only people to escape the destruction of our planet. Thousands of Daxamites survived. Hundreds of ships spread across the galaxy. They just needed a way to get here."

The DEO

Agent Demos sat at one of the computers when he stared at it suddenly worried as it beeped and the satellite showed hundreds of ships. "Agent Danvers — Miss West?" He asked and the two looked back at him.

"Yeah."
"Yes?"

"We have multiple bogies heading into National City," Demos said.

"How many?" Alex asked.

"Twenty-five, no, fifty, one hundred...maybe more," Demos said, "what's happening?"

"They're coming from where Mon-El and Kara are at," Iris said worryingly.

L Corp Facility

Mon stared out the window in worry, seeing thousands of Daxamite ships flying out of the portal, as Rhea smiled. "Welcome...to New Daxam," Rhea said, then she, Mon and Lena were transported out from the facility.
