I know who you are

Previously on Come Back To You, Alex was abducted by a person who demanded the release of Peter Thompson, a man serving several felonies. The kidnapper was identified as Rick Malverne, Thompson's son and also a childhood friend of the Danvers, having deduced Kara's alter ego on his own. Rick was captured and taken to the DEO. Alex sends a location to Winn, but when Kara and Barry rushed to the coordinates, the trap triggers an alarm, causing water to start filling Alex's cell.

While the DEO, Barry, and Kara refused to negotiate with Rick, Maggie tried to break Thompson out of prison before being confronted by Kara, who convinced Thompson to reveal Alex's location. Kara and Maggie manage to rescued Alex in time and Alex and Maggie professed their love for each other. J'onn decided to wipe Rick's memory.

After a long and hard morning run, Cecile and Joe ran into the house, Cecile full of energy and Joe just seconds to passing out. "Whew!" Cecile exclaimed.

"Cecile?" Joe asked and she looked at him while giggling. "Most people quit their New Year's resolutions by now."

"Uh-uh. Central City Marathon is in two months, and I gotta shave ooh! I still got half a minute I gotta take off my time. You?" Cecile asked before Joe collapsed on the couch.

"A lot more than 30 seconds," he said and she smiled at him. "Look, I am going to wait for you at the end of the marathon."

"No, you're not pulling out of this thing," Cecile said as she leaned over him.

"I am not as easy with running as some other members of my family," Joe said before he kissed her.

"Mm, I'm gonna let it slide," Cecile mumbled over his lips. "I'm gonna let it."

"Yeah?" Joe asked and she nodded. "Are you getting mad?"

He then grabbed her and pulled her over the couch, landing right in his lap and arms as she laughed. "I would never get mad. I love you too much to be mad," Cecile said but then her eyes widened once she realized what she said. She then sat up and nervously messed with her hair as Joe watched her. "Uh, um that, uh I, uh - I didn't really mean to-"

"No, absolutely-" Joe started.

"I was looking at you," Cecile continued as Joe's phone started to buzz. "...and then it just came out, and I didn't want you...to feel uncomfortable or-"

"I'm sorry," Joe said once he got his phone out. "Hold on. Sorry. I gotta take this."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Go for it," Cecile said as Joe answered the phone. "Yeah? -- Okay. I'm on my way," Joe said into the phone before he hung up. "All right, sorry. I gotta head out."

Cisco, Julian, Iris, Mon-El, Kara, HR, and Joe faced a hologram that showed all information about the woman Tracy Brand while Barry paced around the hologram. "Her name is Tracy Brand. She's one of the world's top theoretical physicists you know, or at least she will be," Barry said.

"No kidding. Girl Scout earns her merit badges. 2021 Nobel Prize, Copley Medal, presidential commendation. She's a genius, but what's that to us?" Cisco asked.

"She's the key to stopping Savitar," Mon said and everyone looked at him. "Future Barry said that three years from now, Dr. Brand invents the technology that traps Savitar in the Speed Force."
