When Joe and HR walked in, seeing Wally, Joe turned to HR. "My son's not gonna end up like Caitlin. Help me get him out of this thing," Joe said.

"Oh, no, no. Joe, no. We don't...we don't want to touch that thing...First off, we don't know what that's gonna do to Wally, right? Maybe this is the kind of situation best left to the people with the science," HR explained.

"You mean Caitlin?" Joe asked and HR sighed. "Please help me."

When Kara walked into the lab, she saw Barry sitting down on one of the steps, thinking to himself. "What are you doing down here?" Kara asked and Barry looked up at her as she approached him.

"We should all be working to find Alchemy and Savitar and figure out how to stop them. Instead, we're fighting each other," Barry said before Kara leaned down in front of him.

"Yeah. Team SuperFlash is not at its finest," Kara said but Barry's eyes stung of tears.

"Why didn't I just follow you inside the house?" He asked, talking about the night before Barry created Flashpoint.

"Because you were hurting. You would do anything to make the pain go away," Kara said before she cupped his cheeks, him leaning into her touch. "That's why Caitlin is so lost. And Cisco. We will do anything to make the pain stop. That doesn't make you a bad person. That makes you human."

"Tell that to my friends. My best friends, one of them is locked up like a villain; another one doesn't remember anything of the past; the other one hates me," Barry said.

"You can not take this all on yourself," Kara said.

"Why not?" Barry asked.

"How do you know that Caitlin wasn't already affected by the accelerator explosion, or that Dante wouldn't have died in a car accident anyway? You are not God, Barry," Kara said and Barry stiffed a small smile.

"That's what Jay said," Barry said.

"Jay's a smart man," Kara said with a smile. "You can not keep doing this to yourself, constantly going over the what-ifs. You'll go nuts. Everyone in this building needs The Flash right now: Joe, Iris, Mon-El, Wally...even Cisco and Caitlin. So, be strong like I know you are. I know you don't want to be the leader right now, but you have to be."

Barry smiled at her before he kissed her hand. "I told you I couldn't do this without you," he said.

"And you'll never have to," Kara said before she leaned up and kissed his head. But they were interrupted when the lights started flickering and alarms started going off. "Wally."

"Yeah. Come on," Barry said as they got up and walked out.

As Cisco, Kara, Barry, Iris and Mon ran towards the cortex, where the main source of the alarms were coming from. "There's an energy surge coming from the Cortex," Cisco said.

"What?" Kara asked as they entered, to see Joe and HR hovering over Wally's cocoon, opening it with razor blades.

"Joe! Hey! What are you doing?!" Barry exclaimed.

"Hey, Barr," Joe said, not paying attention to him or anyone else.

"Hey, stop! You can't cut him out!" Barry yelled.

"I have to," Joe said but the cocoon started to build up, about to blow, so Barry and Kara speed everyone to get everyone out of the way.

Once cocoon blew up, everyone slowly looked up from all the destruction, to see Wally in the middle of the room, phasing. Just phasing. Doing nothing. "Wally?" Joe asked and Wally slowly looked over at him.
