Previously on Come Back To You, The Daxamites launched a full invasion of National City, killing and arresting civilians. They also attacked the DEO, but Alex, Iris and Winn managed to escape. Mon-El learned that he had to marry Lena in order to unite the people of Earth with Daxam.

On Air Force One, President Marsdin and Cat Grant contacted Rhea and demanded their withdrawal, but the Daxamite fleet fired on them. Kara saved Cat and they discovered that President Marsdin is an alien, a refugee from the planet Durla. She tasked the DEO with destroying the Daxamite mother ship with a special cannon.

Hesitant to do so, Kara and Iris turned to Cadmus for a way into the ship. Cat, Barry and Winn staged a distraction, inciting a civilian riot against the Daxamites, while Kara, Iris, Hank, and Lillian use a Phantom Zone projector to board the ship. Alex and Maggie regained control of the cannon, while the Luthors escaped and tried to disable the projector.

Having predicted that, Supergirl was able to send Mon-El and Iris to safety and went to confront Rhea, who revealed that she had taken control of Superman and had him attack Kara.

Daxamite Supership

Supergirl ran into the throne room to see Rhea was looking out the window. "It's over, Rhea. I came back to give you one last chance to do the right thing," Kara said and Rhea looked back at her.

"How generous of you," she said sarcastically.

"When I was a child, I could look up into the skies and see Daxam and the stars. I was told so many times how terrible a place it was, but I couldn't understand that. Because they had families, like us. People they loved. In a few minutes, this ship will be destroyed, and everyone on it. You don't want that. Save your people while you still have time," Kara explained.

"Touching speech, Supergirl. Sadly, wasted on the wrong audience," Rhea said before she walked down the platform. "When my own husband opposed me, I killed him." Kara stared at her tense. "You really think you can tug at my heartstrings? You were right about one thing though. It is over. For you." But Kara just stared at her sternly, waiting for the ship and her to be completely destroyed. But it never came. Rhea smirked as she walked around the blonde, touching her soft blonde hair. "Supergirl." She then stood on the side of her, staring into her prideful blue eyes. "You really thought you'd won. Didn't you?"

Kara heard something behind her, so she looked to see who it was. She gasped, and before she could do anything, she was punched, thrown across the room. She looked up again to see Superman walking up to her. "Superman?" She asked.

Superman charged towards Kara and pulled her up to her feet. "This is my planet," he said and Kara gasped. "These are my people." He then threw her across the room, through one of Rhea's screens. Superman then walked over to her as she looked up at him from the ground. "And I will not let you harm them."

Kara then flipped back up to her feet before she ran at her cousin, kicking him, causing him to slide back on the floor. She then turned to Rhea, who stood by with a smirk. "What have you done to him?" She asked.

"I once told you that my planet was riddled with the corpse of yours. But not only Green Kryptonite rained down from the skies. There are so many more ways to harm your kind than to simply weaken you. Silver Kryptonite," Rhea explained before she started to walk towards her throne, Kara eyeing her heavily. "Your cousin is so much like you. Reckless, stupid. Barreling headfirst into danger. I couldn't have set a better trap if I tried."
