Alex ran as fast as she could, throughout all the explosions and the troopers running about. She ran as fast as her legs could take her, even if it hurt to do so.

On the ship, she slowly turned into the corridor where all the aliens were locked up.

"T-minus 60 seconds to engine ignition."

She stared at all their worried faces, practically begging for her to let them out. But a trooper ran in, and pointed his gun at her. "Stop!" He yelled but Alex blasted him with her blaster. She continued on but then someone caught her attention.

"Alex!" Lyra exclaimed and Alex looked at her, seeing her in the cage with others.

"Lyra," Alex said before she looked at the keypad. "Get back."

They all backed up a little before Alex blasted the keypad with her blaster and then Lyra opened the door. "You start getting everybody off the ship. I'm going to stop the launch," Alex said before she ran off down the corridor and Lyra started to unlock all the cages.

In the cockpit, Alex ran in and saw it was completely empty. But there were lots of buttons and controls, which Alex didn't know how to use.

"T-minus 30 seconds to engine ignition."

"Okay..." Alex slowly said.

Meanwhile, all the aliens were gathering out of their cages. "Everyone, we need to get to the exit," Lyra told them but when they did, the exit closed on them. The ship started rumbling and everyone stared in fright.

"Everyone, hold onto something!" Lyra yelled as she held onto a door and everyone else grabbed something to hold onto.

The DEO

J'onn ran up to Winn, who was by the computers, with Mon and Iris next to him. "Report!" J'onn exclaimed.

"Detecting spacecraft launch on a hyperbolic trajectory," Winn said.

"What is it?" J'onn asked.

"Cadmus," Winn said as he cell phone rang. "Gotta be. Ugh! Uh, hey, Alex, can I call you back? We got an undetected launch."

"It's me! I'm the launch!"

"What?" Winn asked before he put her on speaker.

"This is not a drill. Once this ship breaches atmo it's gonna jump to light speed. So we need to stop it before it gets to space."

"I'll never get there in time," J'onn said.

"Uh, plan B...This is a Hoshin frigate, so walk me through landing it."

"Okay, give me a second," Winn said as he got his tablet out.

"Winn!" Mon snapped.

"Okay, okay. Got it, got it! Uh, okay, try toggling the switch next to the control yoke and that should put you back in manual control and then I can take it from there," Winn said.

"Two minutes," J'onn said.

"Nothing's happening. The ship is still picking up speed. We need to slow it down."

"I'm here. I can slow it down."

Iris sighed in relief as she heard the voice of Kara on the other line. But then they heard on Alex's end that the ship was beeping. "Winn? The screens just lit up red! What's going on?"
