Cortex
Jay stood in front of Barry, who was sitting and read through tons of books using his super speed. But when he got through the last book, he frustratedly threw the book on the ground, along with the other books he read through. "I've read every Hindu textbook there is on mythology and spirits and demigods and nothing. No mention of Savitar, not once," Barry explained.
"In my experience, the answers usually tend to come in time," Jay said.
"Yeah, I can't just sit back and wait for Savitar or Alchemy to attack," Barry said.
"You can't worry about what may or may not lie ahead. Besides...it's Christmas. A time to be with the ones you care about," Jay said.
"You know, it's just, Savitar's still out there," Barry said.
"Yeah, but not right now. And your beautiful girlfriend is," Jay said and Barry smiled, thinking of how just cuddling with Kara by the fireplace sounded so nice and peaceful. "Get your head out of the books and back into your life with your loved ones while you have them."

Cisco's Workplace
Cisco was working on some things when he had the sudden urge that someone was staring at him. He looked up to see Dante in front of him again, but after a long moment, and he blinked, Dante was gone.
Then Caitlin walked in, but Cisco was still in his sad and sentimental trance. "Hey, Jay thinks he figured out a way to find the stone," Caitlin said but Cisco didn't do anything, just stood there, staring at the clear white board. "You okay?"
"I don't know," Cisco finally said, sighing heavily. "I keep seeing my brother. Everywhere...here, in the cortex..."
"Well, this is your first Christmas since Dante died. Maybe your mind's playing tricks on you," Caitlin said.
"Yeah. Probably," Cisco said but he started to smile, thinking of a past memory with Dante at Christmas. "There was this one Christmas, big family affair. and Dante and I, you know, we used to fight all the time as kids, but that one Christmas, we didn't fight. We just sat and we talked and we drank a whole bottle of whiskey, and...that whole night, we were laughing." Caitlin smiled at him as he laughed softly thinking of the memory more. "It's...And that one night...that one night, it was like we felt like brothers."
"The last Christmas before my dad died, it snowed and snowed. He and I just sat inside, watching old movies while the whole world turned white. It was magical," Caitlin explained and Cisco frowned a little before he looked back at the brunette.
"Hmm. Are we about to be the Grinches this year?" He asked and Caitlin laughed.

The DEO
That night, Iris walked into Mon's sleeping quarters, holding a present and a cup of eggnog. Mon looked up at her and excitement filled his eyes as he also got a present out. "Happy Christmas," Mon said and Iris smiled.
"It's Merry Christmas," Iris said and Mon frowned confused.
"Earth customs are confusing," Mon said and Iris smiled before handing him some eggnog.
"Grandma Esther's recipe...Light on the bourbon," Iris said as they both began to drink some, but Iris cringed a little at the taste. "Mmm. I always loved her definition of light."
Mon smiled as tried to take another sip of eggnog but Iris took it from him, putting it down. "What's happening?" Mon asked before Iris grabbed her present her him, and the present he got for her.
