When Iris and Kara walked in that day, the entire level was in chaos and they both eyed everyone confused. "Where's my art?!" Snapper yelled in the distance.

"What's going on?" Kara asked as James walked by them.

"We're crashing the cover," James said as the girls followed him towards Snapper's office.

"But our pub date's today. The cover's set," Iris said.

"Yeah, that's why they call it a crash," James said.

"We're the fourth estate, not Reddit. Copy can't wait another second-" Snapper said as James, Kara and Iris walked into his office and James placed the new cover on Snapper's desk.

"Yeah, yeah. I sent it down to layouts already. This is for you," James said as Kara and Iris eyed the new cover.

"Wait, you're putting Lena Luthor on the cover? She doesn't need to be a front-page story," Iris said.

"She's arguably the most famous name in National City, Danvers. Her notorious brother's in prison. Of course I'm putting her on the cover, she's a Luthor," Snapper said.

"But she didn't do it," Kara said.

"Have you seen the video? Or are you letting a budding friendship corrupt your reporting? Who's got confirmation bias now?" Snapped asked.

"She told us, on the record, she didn't do it," Kara said.

"She said, she said. This time we need more than just a quote. Otherwise, it's just another conspiracy theory for Twitter," Snapped said.

"We won't stop digging until the e find the truth," Iris said.

"Your gumption annoys me to no end. But keep gumptioning for tomorrow's cover," Snapper said.

"Tomorrow? But that'll be too late. By then everyone will think she's guilty already," Kara said.

"Everyone will think she's guilty today. Tomorrow's another story," Snapper said.

"But once it's out there, it's out there. I mean, people still think Macaulay Culkin's dead," Kara said and Iris sighed.

"James, come on, you know we can't print this," Iris said and James exhaled.

"I can't believe I'm saying this, but I agree with Snapper. And I think you guys should, too," James said, and immediately, Iris and Kara walked out, but James ran after them.

"Kara. Iris," James said. "Guys, come on, wait."

Kara turned to James, annoyed, as Iris continued to walk off to her desk. "No, no, are you kidding me? The only thing Lena has done is help. She called the police on her own mother over the Medusa virus," Kara said.

"That's exactly my point. If she can betray her own mother, what is to stop her from pulling a long con on you and Iris? Okay, I know she's your friend, but Lena's bad news," James said.

"Why, because she's a Luthor?" Kara asked.

"No, because she's guilty. And if you don't see that, I'm gonna prove it to you," James said before he walked off.

As Iris walked towards her desk, frustrated to no end, she accidentally bumped into- "Oh! Oh, gosh! Oh, Ella, I'm so sorry," Iris said before she tried to help the blonde with the papers she's dropped.

"I'm sorry, no. I got it, I got it," Ella said before the two started to walk towards Ella's desk. "Thanks, Iris. It's just so busy here today. With the trial and the daughter."
