Skies of National City

That night, Supergirl was just flying around, when Alex commed in.

"NCPD has Guardian pinned down near the wharf. They just called for backup."

"Let's get this guy once and for all," Kara said and Alex commed off. But before Kara could go to the wharf, a high pitched humming noise was heard, but only Kara could hear it. This caused her to stop flying and just float in the air, trying to figure out what was happening.

"Hello, Kryptonian."

"Cadmus," Kara said.

"Got it in one. And do you know why we call ourselves that? Cadmus was the very first Greek hero."

"If you think you're a hero, you're crazier than I thought," Kara said.

"I'm inviting you over. We already have a guest waiting for you. Your Daxamite friend. But if you tell anyone where you're headed, he dies. If you refuse to come, he dies. Come to me, Supergirl. But I should warn you. In the myths, Cadmus was really only famous for one thing. He killed monsters."

Abandoned Building

In just seconds, Supergirl flew into a glass window of the building and stood up. She then started to walk around, looking for Mon-El, when she came across J'onn, walking down a staircase. "J'onn, what're you doing here?" Kara asked.

"I think the real question is, what are you doing here? I should have locked you in that laboratory when I had the chance," J'onn explained but Kara looked at him surprised.

"You're Hank Henshaw. The real Hank Henshaw. You survived?" Kara asked.

"Yes, I survived. But that alien, that thing from Mars, stole my life. It took everything from me. But Cadmus saved me," Hank explained.

"And now you work for them?" Kara asked.

"When I ran the DEO, we hunted aliens. Now Cadmus has inherited that glorious purpose. To end alien life on this planet," Hank explained.

"Good luck with that," Kara said before she punched Hank, but it did nothing to him. Kara breathed heavily as he slowly looked at her.

"My turn," he said before he slapped her, sending her flying against a wall. He walked up to her, picked her up, then threw her across the room.

"Why are you doing this?" Kara asked weakly as she looked up at him.

"Because it's time for you to die!" Hank yelled before he kicked her, but Kara blocked it. She zoomed up to her feet, then threw Hank against a wall. But he grabbed her arm, and twisted it backwards. "You and the rest of the alien scum have no place on this planet!"

He pushed her down, but she used her heat vision on his face, making him fly back from her. When she stood up and looked at him, she saw that his face was just metal, and his eye was like her own laser vision.

She walked up to him and punched him, but it did no effect. When he punched her however, she stepped back a little. And he punched again, and again. He then kicked her in the stomach, sending her across the room, finally knocked out. "Hank Henshaw is dead," Hank said as he walked up to the unconscious girl. "I'm Cyborg Superman."

The DEO

"We've issued an arrest order for the vigilante known as Guardian on multiple counts of assault and murder. We urge any citizens with knowledge of Guardian's whereabouts or identity..."
