After Flashpoint, Barry accidentally changes the timeline and everything is ruined because of it.
Iris and Joe aren't speaking. Cisco's brother, Dante, is dead. Barry has a new lab partner, who he has no memory of. But worst of all, Mon-El was gone...
That night, Lena was in her office, doing some work, when she suddenly heard something on her balcony. She looked to see it was Supergirl and The Flash. She stood up, shocked to see, right as the two heroes walked in. "Supergirl. Flash," Lena said sternly and surprised.
"You wanted to see us?" Kara asked.
"Yeah, thank you for coming. I wanted to invited you both to my party," Lena said.
"Kara Danvers told us you were going on with the fundraiser. You can't. It's definitely going to be a target for this gang," Barry said.
"Well, that's why I need you there to protect it. With Supergirl and The Flash in attendance, I know my guests and I will be safe," Lena explained.
"You like to take risks, don't you? When Corben was after you and now this. Why?" Barry asked.
"Well, you can't live in fear. You two, more than anyone, must understand that. Time and again, you risk everything to see justice done. Is it so hard to believe that I feel the same way? Or are you one of those people that thinks there's no such thing as a good Luthor?" Lena asked but the two heroes disagreed.
"We believe everyone should be judged on their own merits," Kara said.
"Then judge me on mine. This party must happen, and I am asking you for your help," Lena said. Kara and Barry looked at each other then, back at Lena, before agreeing.
"I guess we have no choice," Kara said.
"Thank you. So Kara, Iris and I will see you tomorrow night?" Lena asked as Kara and Barry walked to the balcony. Barry looked at Kara surprised.
"Kara?" He asked.
"Yes, Kara Danvers was invited," Kara said, sternly. Barry tried not to laugh, but it was very hard.
"Yes, Kara, Iris and I will all be at your party," Kara said to Lena, then looked back at the balcony. "Crap," she muttered.

Fundraiser Party The Next Night
Kara, in an elegant blue dress and white heels, walked in with Winn and Barry, who were in their respectively black suits. "Okay, the Muon Particle Detector will let us know if there are any weapons within 100 feet," Winn told the two.
"Are you sure?" Kara asked.
"Have I ever been wrong before?" Winn asked and the two gave him a look. "Okay, this time I'm sure."
Then Kara spotted Lena and she took Barry's hand. "I see Lena. Commence Operation Doubtfire," Kara said before she and Barry walked up to Lena. "Lena!"
Lena turned to the two with warm and welcoming smiles. "Kara, it's really great to see you," Lena said.
"Thank you. I hope it was okay that I brought my boyfriend," Kara said and Lena smiled.
