Previously on Come Back To You, With 24 hours left before Iris dies, Team SuperFlash learned that there was only one energy source that can power the "Speed Force Bazooka"; a salvaged Dominator technology held by A.R.G.U.S.

However, Lyla refused to hand it over because of her mistrust of Barry due to his creation of Flashpoint. Barry then recruited Snart from 1892, after Mon-El asked him to, when Snart was travelling with the Legends, to help him break into A.R.G.U.S. and steal the device.

In the process, A.R.G.U.S. agents captured Barry, Mon-El, and Snart, but Lyla, seeing the kindness in Barry and Mon-El's actions, allowed him to take the device. Snart advised Barry to use the goodness in him to defeat Savitar. Tracy decided to join the team. Cisco vibed about his battle with Killer Frost and left to fight her. Joe hid Iris from Savitar on Earth-4 with Emma, Peter and Wally but Savitar tricked H. R. into revealing her location by pretending to be Barry, then went to Earth-4 and kidnapped Iris. Barry used the "Speed Force Bazooka" on Savitar, but it failed when Savitar counteracted it with the Philosopher's Stone, which was made out of calcified speed force energy. Savitar then stabbed Iris in the back seemingly killing her, before escaping.

"Don't!" Kara yelled. "Please don't! Don't do this!"

"Now," Savitar started, "finally, I am free of you."

"Mon-El-" Iris started, and Mon knew what she was about to say.

"No, don't say it, you're gonna be all right," Mon said, as tears were not just forming from his eyes, but from Kara's and Barry's.

"I'm begging you, just-" Barry started.

"Mon-El!" Iris cried out.

"You lose, Barry," Savitar said, before a blade slashed out from his armor, and he stabbed Iris in the back.

"NO!"

Savitar let Iris go, her falling to the ground, as Barry, Kara and Mon zoomed towards her, and he ran off. Mon caught Iris in his arms before she fell to the ground as Savitar zoomed off. "Hey, hey, Iris," Mon said as his voice shaked, but Iris was unresponsive. Kara and Barry leaned down next to them, trying to wake Iris up as well, but she was unresponsive. "Iris, hey...Iris, wake up. Please,"

"No," Kara whispered, before falling into Barry's arms.

"Iris. Wake up. Come on- you gotta. Iris, Iris," Mon continued to say, but Iris just laid there, lifeless, while Kara sobbed madly into Barry's chest, and Mon screamed out in agony.

On the roof where Joe was, he just stared at the scene before him, Mon holding onto Iris so tight, crying into her lifeless body, while Barry and Kara comforted each other, crying. Joe couldn't take it. He fell to the ground, dropping his blaster. And right then HR ran out onto the roof, and grabbed the blaster to shoot Savitar, but when he looked out onto the roof, he saw that Savitar was gone. Iris was dead. And everyone was heartbroken. "Oh, no," HR muttered as his voice shaked, and Joe cried to himself.

On the ground, Mon continued to hold Iris tight, as if the tighter he held, the more likely she would come back to life. But he gasped when drumsticks clattered from her pockets onto the ground. He looked at them confused but he was brought back to Iris when she suddenly gasped. "Iris?" Mon asked as Kara and Barry looked at her as well.
