West Household

Later that night, Wally was packing things into a bag when Jesse suddenly walked into the house. "Hey," Jesse said and Wally stopped in his tracks. "You going somewhere?"

"Yeah, I just wanna get back to S. T. A. R. Labs and train," Wally said as he zipped it up and placed it over his shoulder.

"Seeing as how you exploded on Barry in front of everyone, might want to wait on it," Jesse said as she walked up to him.

"Well, the truth had to come out, so-" Wally said. "Yeah, it did. Just maybe not that way. I mean, we all have to help each other, not point fingers," Jesse said.

"You're right. I- I'll make it up to them. It's just, this whole thing is messing with my head," Wally said.

"Don't let it," Jesse said, placing her hand in his his. But he walked away from her and stood in the middle of the living room.

"You don't get it, Jesse. When you got your powers, you were walking down the street. Me? I touched the Philosopher's Stone, I got trapped in some cocoon, and," Wally began before he sighed. "I just feel, because of all of that, I- there's something wrong with me. I feel like Savitar has some kind of hold on me."

"Look, I know. Okay? But you're strong, Wally. You can fight this," Jesse said as she slowly walked up to him.

"You know, all I ever wanted was to have powers. To do some good. But now, now I'm- I'm the one responsible for saving Iris' life. I don't know if I'm gonna be fast enough to save her, so-" Wally started.

"Okay, Wally. You're not alone," Jesse said before she sat him down on the coffee table, and hugged him.

"Okay," he muttered before he hugged her back.

"She's right, Wally." Wally looked up confused to see his mother sitting on the stairs, staring straight at him. "You're not alone."

"Mom," Wally said softly as he got up.

"You're never alone, Wally," Francine said as Wally walked up to her. But Jesse stared at him confused. Seeing as how she didn't see anything.

"I've missed you so much," Francine said.

"I missed you too," Wally said before he hugged her and started sobbing.

"Wally?" Jesse asked.

"I'm so proud of you. Of what you're trying to become," Francine said after they broke their hug.

"That's all I want. I just want you to be proud of me," Wally said.

"Wally, you're really freaking me out," Jesse said as she walked up behind him, but he wasn't listening.

"I am, son. I'm so very, very proud. But you have to stop," Francine said and Wally looked confused.

"What? Why?" Wally asked.

"You're working so hard. You don't see how dangerous it is. Son, you're not fast enough. You never will be," Francine said.

"But I can't- I can't stop. I have to save Iris. I have to," Wally said.

"Wally," Jesse said sternly and Wally looked back at her. He realized that Francine wasn't Francine. And she wasn't there. He looked back at Francine as he backed up.

"You're in my head again," Wally said and Francine smirked.

"You were always so smart. Weren't you, Wallace? But not smart enough. I have what I need to escape my hell, Wallace," Francine said.
