Previously on Come Back To You, Harry was captured while running through the woods. Jesse and Kara-2 explained that he was leading an expedition to Gorilla City that was ambushed and killed while Harry disappeared. Barry recalled that in the future Central City will be attacked by gorillas. He, Kara, Julian, Mon-El, Cisco, and Caitlin go to rescued him but were captured by Grodd.

Speaking through Harry, Grodd asked Barry to help him usurp his master Solovar. Barry agreed to fight Solovar in the arena for the lives of the others and wins, but refused to kill him. Grodd seized control of Gorilla City and prepared an invasion of Earth-1. Cisco asked Caitlin to kill him so Grodd cannot open a portal, but she refused. Barry faked his death and Grodd removed him from his cage. He resuscitated himself and freed the others, and they returned to Earth-1. Jesse, Kara-2 and their father reunited and Wally and Jesse recommitted to their relationship. Julian asked Caitlin out on a date. Grodd assembled his army with a brainwashed Gypsy at his side.

Alien Dive Bar

"The trial of Lillian Luthor continued today. Luthor, the suspected head of the anti-alien terrorist organization, Cadmus, has been charged with a host of crimes, including the use of a bio-weapon in an attempted extermination of all aliens in National City."

Iris was watching the TV by the bar sternly, worried about Lena. "That woman is bad news," a voice said and Iris turned towards the bar to see Mon-El.

"Luthor claims that she is a victim..."

"I hope once she's convicted, they, uh...They put her out on the town square for public shaming," Mon continued as Iris walked up to the bar. "On Daxam, it really seemed to cut back on recidivism."

"Uh, well, that kind of punishment actually went away a long time ago," Iris said.

"That's too bad," Mon said and Iris stammered a smile. "Yeah, I haven't, uh...Haven't seen you in a while."

"I've...I've been busy," Iris said.

"Yeah?" Mon asked.

"Just...working on deadlines. You know the deal," Iris said before she softly chuckled. "Uh, how are you? How's Ella?"

"Oh, great. Great, we are...We're great. Ella is great. Things are great," Mon said and Iris smiled.

"I'm so happy for you," Iris said.

"More drinks for you guys?" Mon asked.

"Yeah, please, I would...We would love-" Iris said as she backed up.

"Yup. Um, yup," Mon muttered as he got some drinks ready.

Iris walked back to her table where Barry, Kara, James, Winn, and J'onn were. "Another round's on its way," Iris told them as she sat next to Winn.

"You okay, J'onn?" Kara asked J'onn, who looked troubled.

"Yeah, yeah. It's just the first time I've been in this bar since, uh...M'gann left," J'onn said.

"Hey, I'm...I am very excited to meet Alex's new mystery man," James said and Barry snickered a little.

"Hey, do we know what, um, what he does for a living? Alex's guy?" Winn asked.

"Cop," Kara said.

"Oh! Yeah, no way Alex Danvers dates someone who doesn't own a firearm," Winn said as Alex and Maggie walked up to them.
