That night, Kara walked into James's office, frustrated to no means. "Hey, thanks for coming," James said as Kara stood in front of his desk. "I, uh...Want to tell you something."
"Yeah, me, too," Kara said before she started to stammer in frustration. "I am losing my mind right now. Livewire is just out there roaming the streets, and I don't know where she is, or when she'll strike. I just know she's out there somewhere and she's going to hurt people."
"The city is not defenseless, Kara," James said.
"I hate having a nemesis. Clark always makes it look so much fun, like you have a deadly pen pal you see once a year. But having a nemesis is stressful," Kara explained.
"Well, you're not alone in this fight. You have friends. You have help. And you're not the only hero in National City," James said and Kara stared at him, with a sudden wave of relief.
"Yeah, that's a good point," Kara said before she sat down. "Yes, that is actually such a relief."
"I, for one, am relieved to hear you say that," James said.
"I mean you're right. I don't have to face her alone," Kara said.
"Absolutely not," James said.
"I have Barry," Kara said and James eyed her.
"Barry?" James asked.
"Oh, and there's also Mon-El," Kara said.
"Mon-El?" James asked and Kara looked up at him. "Yeah. Right. The, um...Superhero kindergarten."
"Yes, Iris has been training him. And I trust her judgment," Kara said.
"And you're sure that's a good idea?" James asked.
"Well, how often does someone with superpowers just show up?" Kara asked.
"Yeah, that's true. But, um...There's a lot more important things than having powers to being a hero," James said.
"Of course, yeah, but-" Kara started.
"Like wanting to make a difference, or having the willingness to put yourself on the line for others. And I just think that Mon-El is the kind of the guy who thinks about himself first," James explained.
"Well, he's come a really long way. He's doing really well with training," Kara said but James looked annoyed. "Do you have something against Mon-El?"
"No, I don't. I think he's a fun guy. He's just not a hero," James said.
"Why do you get to decide that?" Kara asked.
"Never mind. Just...Forget it," James said.
"I, um...Sorry. What did...What did you want to tell me? I came in here and bulldozed you," Kara said.
"Um...I just...Honestly, I just wanted to catch up. It's just been so long," James said as Kara looked up at the TV's behind him.
"James?" Kara said, wanting him to see what she saw.
"Seriously, Kara, I'm fine," James said.
"No, no, James," Kara said before she pointed at the screens. They both got up, seeing that Livewire was attacking the Police Precinct downtown.
"I gotta go," Kara said, before she ran off.
"I gotta go," James said as he got his phone out.
"Winn? Get downtown now," James said.
Downtown National City Police Station
In the garage of the precinct, Livewire was wreaking havoc when suddenly Supergirl, The Flash and Mon-El jumped down behind her. "Give it up, Leslie. We've done this before, the same thing always happens. I win. You lose," Kara said but then Livewire turned around to reveal, it wasn't Livewire. It was the other prisoner who broke the Livewire out.
