When Supergirl and The Flash arrived at the empty boardwalk, The Rival was there waiting for a The Flash. "Remember me, Flash?" He asked and Barry looked taken back while Kara looked confused.

"Clariss?" Barry asked.

"Oh, you do remember, Flash? Good, yeah. Because I remember everything, too," Rival said.

"What is going on?" Kara asked.

"How are you here?" Barry asked.

"It doesn't matter. You see, what does matter is that I know your little secret. You changed the timeline," Rival said and Kara gave Barry a look, which he was trying to ignore. "Because if I recall correctly, the only Speedsters in my other life were me and that smartass Kid Flash, until you showed up and stole everything from me!"

"I didn't steal anything from you, Clariss. I...I was just trying to put things back to the way they're supposed to be," Barry said.

"This is how my life is supposed to be! For years, I felt like something was missing. And now I know why," Rival said.

"Well, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do this to you," Barry said.

"Yeah, well, you did. And here I am. Your Rival, back again. Believe me, Flash, this time, you're not gonna steal my life so easily," Rival said before he whooshed off and Barry ran after him.

Kara grumbled in annoyance that Barry just ran off like that. "Every single time I need to question him. Every single time," she muttered.

Cortex

After The Flash had fought The Rival but he got away, he came back to STAR Labs where everyone was, including Supergirl, who was standing in the middle of the room, quiet. "We finally get rid of Zoom, and there's another evil Speedster? Who is this guy, now?" Joe asked.

"I can help you with that. I finally got the results back from the test I ran on the husk that Barry gave me this morning. And it's weird, because there's no traces of dark matter, but there are traces of the Speed Force," Caitlin explained.

"And that's the husk from this Speedster?" Joe asked.

"Appears so. His name is-" Caitlin started.

"Edward Clariss," Barry said.

"And somehow Barry is exactly right," Caitlin said.

"Can I talk to you for a second?" Kara said in a quiet tone, but Barry knew she was angry with him.

"Yeah," he said quietly before the two walked out of the cortex.

Hallway

Once the two walked out, Barry faced her with a guilty face. "So, you are going to tell me what happened back there because it's pretty obvious that this guy knows you," Kara said but Barry just stared at her nervously. "This is why you've been acting so weird lately...trying to get Iris and Joe talking again, tricking us into dinner tonight...because you're keeping something from us. You will tell me what is happening right now Barry. And don't you dare lie to me, not like how you did before. Don't start our relationship again on more lies. Or else, this won't happen."

"You're right, and, uh, I'm sorry, I...I did this. All of this. It's my fault and I've been trying to fix it. But I think that there's only one way to do that now. I'm sorry, Kara," Barry said before he zoomed off.

"Barry!" Kara yelled but he was gone. "Damnit."
