Barry, Mon, Cisco, and HR were all together, trying to figure everything out. "Transformers are the key," Barry said.

"No, I agree," HR said.

"Anytime the monster's shown up, any nearby have exploded," Barry said.

"They blow up," HR said.

"Car alarms keep malfunctioning too," Barry said.

"Car alarms, transformers. What is the connection? Yeah, we'll get there, fellas. We'll get there. We just got to keep trying," HR said, causing Mon to eye him.

"Maybe someone's pulling power out of the transformers and using it to power the monster," Cisco said.

"Power...yes, the monster. That's...ah, you just beat me to it, San Francisco," HR said but Cisco chuckled.

"See, that can't be it, H.R," Cisco said.

"Can't be it," HR said.

"Cause we would have detected a surge in the power grid," Cisco said.

"We did not," HR said.

"Not if it was broadcast power or something like a portable Tesla tower," Cisco said.

"A portable Tesla power," HR said.

"Tower," Barry said.

"Tower. That's what it is. Nice. Mm, mm. Teamwork, hmm? So PS, where I'm from, on my Earth, we call that a problem solved. I'm gonna go for coffee. On my Earth, the coffee was wiped out by blig-" HR started.

"Blight, yeah," Mon said, obviously hearing this story over and over again.

"Can you imagine?" HR asked before he walked out and the three boys looked at each other, conflicted.

"Okay, so, I know I'm new around here, and uh, I don't really know anything, but...he didn't really do anything, did he?" Mon asked.

"Thank you! Took me a while to realize it, but he's just resaying everything that we're saying in a different way," Cisco said.

"No, he did have the idea for the rope," Barry said.

"Ah, ah, reverse inception. He made you think he had the idea for the rope, but he didn't even tell us how to use it," Cisco said.

"Okay, well, we're not gonna be caught off guard again. We should vibe him," Barry said.

"Vibe?" Mon asked.

"It'd be my pleasure," Cisco said.

"What's vibe?" Mon asked.

"His powers," Barry said.

"So...more people than just me, you, and Kara have powers?" Mon asked and Cisco hysterically laughed.

"Oh, yeah," he said.

Kara walked in and up to Joe. "Hey-oh," Kara said.

"Hey, Kara," Joe said before they hugged. "You've been hanging out here a lot lately."

"Yeah, well, there's a lot of scared people with this monster running around the city," Kara said as they started to walk towards Joe's desk.

"Oh, we'll get him. We always do," Joe said.

"Oh, yeah? Is that a quote I can use for my article?" Kara asked.

"No. All right. It was worth a try," Kara said and Joe chuckled. "Joe, you know Wally and Iris are all right, right?"
