"Lock-down terminated."

The doors of the DEO reopened and Winn sighed heavily. "I can't believe it's still nighttime. Feels like it's been one week," Winn said.

"One Week. Wicked," Kara said before she gasped. "I've got to call Barry."

She then ran off but then stopped and turned to Winn. "Hey, you did a great job with that decoding down there," Kara said and Winn smiled.

"Well, thank you. You did a great job with the de-Martianing," Winn said and they both laughed. "Uh, I'm going to go see James. See if he needs my help tonight. Unless you object?"

"No. Just...Be safe," Kara said.

"Always," Winn said and Kara smiled before she took off again to go call Barry, as Iris watched her go sadly.

J'onn was working on some stuff in the hall when M'gann walked up to him. "Thank you for saving me," J'onn said and M'gann smiled.

"I should be thanking you. I've been on my own for so long and...Though I had a mother, she wasn't warm, that's not our way, but she cared for me. I know she did. And I'd forgotten that feeling until now...What it feels like to have a family. Which is what makes this so hard," M'gann explained and J'onn looked back at her. "I'm going back to Mars."

"Why?" J'onn asked.

"There must be other voices like mine. White Martians who have the desire and the capacity to change, who don't want to be defined by the hatred of our kind, but just need a push to do the right thing," M'gann explained.

"They could kill you as soon as you land," J'onn said.

"Maybe, but if I don't try, they're never going to stop hunting me. You know that's true. You've shown me what it is to stand up and fight. And that's exactly what I'm going to do. Please tell me you understand," M'gann said but J'onn just stared at her sternly.

Iris's Apartment

Later, Iris was in the apartment, snuggled up on her couch, drinking some hot cocoa, watching a show when someone knocked at her door.

Confused, Iris got up from the couch and opened the door to reveal Kara holding up a cupcake, with one single candle on it. And on the frosting, was two little initials. K & I. "Happy Friendsversary," Kara said and Iris smiled. "Look, there's a K and I."

Iris giggled while Kara smiled softly at her. "Come on. Let's blow it out together," Iris said before they both leaned down to blow it out. "Gently."

The two girls, gently, blew out the candle before Kara gave Iris the cupcake and they walked inside. "Thank you," Iris said.

"You're welcome- Woah. I love what you've done with our place," Kara said and Iris smiled as the door shut behind them.

"Was Barry mad that you missed the musical?" Iris asked as she placed the cupcake at the table and got utensils out.

"Well, luckily, I have a boyfriend that understands when deadly aliens besiege our place of work, that takes precedence," Kara said as she sat down at the table.

"Yeah, I'm glad everyone is okay. That last White Martian...Oof! First of all, boy, did it do a good impression of you, and second, you got there just in time," Iris said before she sat down in front of Kara, with two forks for them.

"Uh, speaking of that White Martian, um...When it was me, did you have a conversation?" Kara asked and Iris stared at her tense. "Because I have these memories. They're like a...Almost like a dream, that we talked. But I'm not really sure if that was real."
