Yusuke vs. Toguro pt. 2

Third POV

"And here I thought that you might actually be the one, Urameshi." Toguro said as he walked towards him, "If you had pass my test, I was ready to go full power for you." He said, making Yusuke take a step back, "But there is absolutely no need for you to worry about that now. My total power would be wasted on you." Having that said, the demons in the crowd began to cheer and scream.

"H-He's not in his full power?" Kuwabara asked, "I wasn't aware that anyone could get fuller than that." He said, sweating in fear,

"Do you think there is any hope for him?" Kurama asked,

"Not really." Hiei answered,

"If he's that mightier than our boy, what's that say about us loosing to Urameshi earlier on?" Chu asked,

"Face it guys, you're just a bunch of lame what losers." Rinku said,

"Nice one, Rinku." Toya deadpanned,

"And you lost to Kurama and Kurama to a dead guy. How's that for being lame?" Jin asked,

"Nicely put, Jin." Hayami said, "Yusuke, better think of something quick."

After a long silence of staring at each other, Yusuke chuckled and wiped off the blood dripping from his cheek.

"Guess play period is over. Oh well it was fun." He said,

"What?" Toguro asked,

Yusuke responded in ripping off his wristband, only to reveal a glowing gold circle around his wrist and ripping the next one to reveal the same. A gold energy like chain was cuffed to both his wrist and legs as he raised his arm up.

"Wait... are those what they think they are?" Ranumi asked,

"Yeah, he's wearing spirit cuffs." Hayami confirmed,

"I should've expected. Spirit cuffs from Genkai." Toguro said,

"I gotta say, that's a pretty sissy fashion statement even for Urameshi men." Kuwabara said,

"Why would he fight Toguro with such a handicap? I could hardly understand"Kurama said,

"Easy. It's because he's such a cocky fool." Hiei said, a bit annoyed to know that it wasn't Yusuke's full power that was shown,

"Yes he must've inherited it from Genkai. Spirit cuffs like what Hayami just said." Koenma said,

"Uh can someone tell me... what the heck is going on?" Kuwabara asked,

"Simple, half of Yusuke's energy is locked inside of him because of those spirit cuffs." Hayami said, "He has only used half of his spirit power and not to his full power at all. Only the one with the spirits cuffs can break it to release their full power." She explained,

"And how do you know this?" He asked,

"Because I used to have spirit cuffs when I couldn't control my powers to begin with. Ranumi and father also have them but they haven't taken it off." She said

"It's true, I still have my spirit cuffs on me. Mostly because I don't want to hurt others upon using a power that I don't have the strength to control it." Ranumi said, "In any case, since I'm not a fighter it only became necessary for me to have this until I've made my decision to break it at the right time when my power is absolutely needed."

"Now's a pretty good time, right Genkai?" Yusuke said to himself, like speaking with his mentor as he crossed his wrist above him, "OBIDUS!!!" He said, breaking the spirit cuffs as he released his full spiritual energy that Genkai bestowed upon him.
